“We had a wonderful stay at Peter's home. We had ten people and the house was more than sufficient to give everyone their own bedroom, bathroom and space. The views out the back decks was breathtaking giving you the real Ireland experience. Much of the area can be walked with no problems. Good food, good pubs lots of touristy things to do. It was a good location for us as many of the towns were easily in driving distance, plus they have excellent taxi , car service. Our host Peter was awesome and……

“The village of Silvermines is nestled on the side of Keeper mountain in a gorgeous valley with the amenities of Nenagh a quarter hour away by car and the beauty of Lough Derg and the Shannon River also very nearby. We were comfortable in the spacious two storey apartment and had ready access to some really lovely parts of the country.”

“Ireland and this house exceeded our expectations. Four women ages 50-70. Everyone left completely satisfied. Host was helpful and kind. It’s in a remote area but we knew that before we went. A 2 minute drive into the town of Banagher and a 40 minute walk.”

It’s conveniently located to explore the surrounding areas of the country but also to sit back and relax around Ballina/Killaloe with a stunning view of the Shannon river. The property is beautiful maintained and was clean on arrival. The pictures portray an accurate description of the property, which contains everything you need. The booking was simple and communication was always very easy and quick with the property……

“We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The location was close to the center of town where we enjoyed various restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Our host, Kenneth, was very accessible and checked in with us a few times to make sure we were comfortable and to answer any questions that we had about the home. “I spent all of July and August at Sean’s Lodge at Stonepark and I loved every minute of it. The Lodge was fully equipped with everything I could possibly need to have a comfortable stay and Sean was incredibly kind and helpful. The lodge was quiet and in a beautiful country location but only a 20 minute drive to Portumna and a 30 minute drive to Nenagh. I would definitely love to stay at the Lodge again. 10/10”

“We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million.”

“Our Coolderry Lodge stay was wonderful. Wonderful. Centrally located, it's an easy jump to any number of places of interest in the country. Colette, our terrific host, provided warm hospitality, ideas of places to visit and excellent homemade sugar cookies. The farm dogs made sure we were extra welcome. It's hard to overstate the charm and the beauty and quiet of the location.”

“The accommodations are relaxing and beautiful. The town and nearby Nenagh have what you need. Hickey's Bar across the street is a wonderful place to meet the nicest people. Highly recommend staying here at Paul and Karen's place in Silvermines. Karen's friendly reception and initial information set the tone for a great visit!”
