Location is all!

Great house great location

This house is massive, and sits on a bend on the little Nestucca river (great for fishing). Long driveway, insane master bathroom, MULTIPLE balconies, and the large deck all make it an easy purchase. Also, very helpful that the property is VERY secluded. I will certainly be looking to stay here again in the future.

The House

What an amazing home! Perfect for all of our family. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The master is over the top. Loved it! Plenty of parking for our large family as well. Having the windows open at night listening to the river was so peaceful. Thank you for allowing my family to stay at your home.

The yard, river and privacy were priceless. What a beautiful spot, swimming holes right out the front yard, giant yard to play games, balconies off most of the bedrooms. The interior of the home is beautiful. Fun TV party room. Highly recommend this rental. Will definitely return.

Never dissapointed!

We love spending time in your beautiful home. Always plenty to do yet relaxing and cozy. The beach is so close for a quick trip to the store or for a meal out. The updates are nice , I am sorry they haven't been treated as well as they should. The stars you can see at night in the hot tub are amazing! We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you 😊

Loved the house

Hot tub was amazing, the property description did not do the river justice, great views. Plan to return. Strange the library area did not have any curtains as there is a futon to sleep on but when the sunshine comes in your awake. Another thing to note is many of the windows do not have screens. Something to think about during hot stays. But still would rebook.

The house and setting are beautiful!

The house and setting are beautiful and peaceful. There are so many things that could make the stay itself a much better experience. When we arrived a garden hose had been left to fill up the hot tub and never turned off. The cover was off and the hot tub had been overflowing for hours as evidenced by the flooded deck and lawn. We turned off the house and replaced the cover, but the hot tub never got about 60° during our stay. I called to report it to Vacasa but they didn't seem to care one way or another. The house was also not very clean. We ended up re-washing bed sheets before we felt comfortable sleeping in them as there was so much hair on them. There was also an excessive amount of hair on all of the floors, as if they had not been cleaned or swept. We did enjoy the beauty of the outdoors by spending time by the river.

Perfect for families & doggies 🥰

We had an amazing reprieve from the hustle & bustle of life! The house is great - so spacious! We had 4 adults, 5 children and two dogs there during our stay. We never felt crowded. I’ve seen a few reviews about cleanliness, it was clean for sure - just loved by many. It actually made me feel a little better with dogs and kids that the furniture was already a little “loved”. The kitchen is well-equipped with the basics, even some seasonings and we added to the stash by leaving some salt and sugar to what was there. We only took one trip to Safeway (about 35min away) and stayed on site the rest of the 3 days. We took a set of 7 year olds and it was hard pulling them away from the river and wildlife (in a good way!). So many fabulous memories were made!

Loved the privacy!

Wonderful house! Very spacious and plenty of beds. They had the hot tub fixed by the time we got there, so thank you! The river was amazing and great for a cool down float. The yard could've been mowed but over all very beautiful! We all loved it and had a wonderful time.

Great house in a relaxing location.

This is a beautiful and interesting house in a lovely location! We really enjoyed watching the river and birds in the picturesque backyard.

Very poor communication with management of this property

Nobody responded to the problem of no internet service after three repeated calls and also the Maintence person who tried to remedy the problem and telling me he would report the problem as well as telling me that someone would contact me that afternoon. The three calls were reported and tickets made and also told someone would contact me and nobody ever did. They also told me someone would stop by and see what the problem was but nobody came.

Pictures don't do it justice. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Completely private. Huge home with plenty of room for family. Hot tub, fire pit, and fishing were awesome.

Beautiful property on riverbed!

This property was much better than expected based on the listing. The house has almost 360 degree views of the river! We enjoyed this place very much and would go back again. It was clean, the house architecture was cool and all the decks make for great outdoor space. Bringing your own dry firewood is a necessity if your wanting to use the wood burning fireplace.

Wonderful Seclusion

We loved the house and location. We constantly look for vrbos where you can't see the neighbors and this one fits. Views from every window and deck. The driveway is awesome! One knit pick, the keys provided don't fit the front door where the key box is, as one would expect and nothing tells you otherwise. We had to wander around in the dark until we found a door that the keys would access.

Worth the draw backs

This property is amazing. The home is spacious and comfortable and set amongst the beauty of trees and the river. We ventured to this home on a very dark and rainy night and it was a bit difficult and scary. The secluded road you take to the home makes you feel like you are lost and alone. It was a very intimidating start to our stay. However, it is worth it. When you wake up in the morning and see your surroundings, you will snuggle in and enjoy. I did not read carefully enough when I reserved the house, but there is no cell service there (which made it difficult to communicate with the property manager with questions) and the Wi-Fi is very limited. But we loved this place and hope to be back in 2022.

Lovely home on the river

Our family had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. The house itself was unique and inviting and the setting was unmatched! Tucked away in the trees and right on the river it really felt like we had gone to another world. One where we could relax, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy family time. All that peace and quiet only a few minutes from town and the beach made this house exactly what we were looking for and so much more!
