Pleasant stay

My stay at the Gala hotel was really comfortable. The front desk was nice, room (with a balcony!) and bathroom clean. After a shower the water stays in the shower cabin the way it should be everywhere. So no wet feet! Good wifi. Also the breakfast and the staff were really nice and attentive. Bar was open, restaurant for the moment closed. It's a bit out of the city to escape the crowds, but a bus stop at the doorstep.Would definitely come back !!

super friendly stuff, very clean, out of city!

Very friendly people working at the reception! Breakfast nothing to talk home about but ok. Room big, clean and ok. Yes, there is this sound problem that you hear anything in the rooms but it is totally ok for this price, especially as all people working there are so friendly. It is quite a bit to walk home and it is surely not a place to spend a honey moon but for a night or 2 it is perfect.

Great budget option.

Nice hotel. Room has balcony, bed, some chairs, small table, desk, wardrobe, tv, shower & toilet. Situated on the hill (cluj is in a valley) its a 30-40 minute walk to the city centre but a lot longer walk up hill coming back but there are plenty off buses and taxis (around 12 lei to & from city centre £2). There is a bar/restaurant were breakfast is, help yourself normal stuff. The restaurant is recommended as its very reasonable price wise and the food (mostly pasta dishes) was great. Staff were good. I was on the 3rd floor and could not receive any wifi which is annoying but it was excellent in the bar. Definitely recommend this hotel as a great budget option.

Great value for money

Small friendly hotel that's great value and very handy if you, like me, are having any dental work at Broni Implant. All the rooms are spacious and have a good sized balcony, albeit not seemingly on the sunny side. Bathrooms are recent and modern, albeit the showers are a little quirky in design (possibly converted from older bathrooms with baths?). It kind of adds to the charm :-)

Good value

A good clean budget hotel. Used it several times. A lot of rooms have sizeable balconies (handy for smokers as rooms seem to be non-smoking), although they don't seem to get a lot of sun. Nice to sit out hear the chickens in the orchards nearby.

Nice hotel, easy access to centre

Great staff, nice rooms, comfy bed! Could use a coffee-maker in the room, but I am a coffee -adict so maybe that's just my tiny problem. :) Good internet access. Free parking is a real gift, as it is not easy to park your car in Cluj. Would definetely recommend!

Tog rummet lite i sista minut då vi behövde en övernattning för tre personer. Var väldigt positivt överraskade över att man kunde få tag i ett så stort och fräscht rum för ett så förmånligt pris i sista sekund. Dessutom jättestor terrass. Överlag ett positivt intryck av hotellet.

Good value but outside city center

A good value for money. No shops or supermarkets arround and far from city center. Staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast limited but all products fresh and tasty.
