"Charlie the owners was at the property very welcoming and nice .the property was amazing. Right on a river. The house was above incredible, you feel your at spa .he has everything you could ever want. The only down is the well water has a sulfur smell but he provides bottled water for cooking and cleaning .so no problem. Cool evening enjoyed a nice fire.the pictures on the site are exactly what it looks like. Dont think theres a picture of the bench by the river its a great place to set."

"Nice, clean place. Enough room for two of us and a dog (plus its crate). The covered back porch came in handy to allow us to still enjoy the lake view during an afternoon of rain. Parking could be a little tricky if you have a large vehicle like our F150, but we managed."

"Right on the water, quiet neighborhood, lots of deck space and dock. Plenty of room inside, big kitchen for group prep and cooking. Amazing sun porch, we spent so much time in there, unbelievable sunsets. Plenty of books, movies and games to use. Close to wineries and breweries, yet away from the traffic and noise."

"My main complaint was the listing said basic soaps To me that should include shower soap- all other places I have stayed have as well as shampoos We arrived at the property at 10 pm and had to go out to the store to buy soap so we could all shower in the morning That was the major disappointment. All three of us slept in the main room where the bed was located… more like a studio rental. "We had a great stay in Geneva. The Wine Down Bungalow is clean, spacious and perfect for a few nights away. We had the dock to ourselves for the solar eclipse. Great space to stare out onto the lake. Our first morning, the shower water did not get hot. The owners were quick to respond and it was fixed immediately. Very responsive and easy to deal with. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute place to stay about a ten minute drive away from the center of Geneva."
