“Easy access to the town centre from the motel on foot. It was helpful that the motel had provided transfer from the train station to the motel as the motel was located on the uphill side of Greymouth. The check in was smooth and the motel management had also provided info on local stuff which were quite useful as a first-timer. The motel was near a main road but it did not cause much nuisance to me during my stay.”

“Bella Vista motels throughout N Z are privately owned and a standard has to be adhered to. This ensures whichever one you stay at they do not disappoint. The fly in the booking through an agent is that they did not inform Bella Vista That we had to have a ground floor. I stated that we needed a ground floor unit as my wife has a bad knee and is unable to bend it. I also stated that I use a walking stick. Also I informed the agency that we were in our mid to late 70's. Expedia! i will never use……

“Certainly right about it being warm! For the middle of summer was too warm with no way to cool it down other than 2 small windows. Also didn’t help that they have polar fleece sheets and pillow cases. Couldn’t sleep in the beds. ”
