I have no negative comments at all. The price was fair, the room was clean and the staff was great. I travel as an electrician for work and when i work in the area again i will most likely stay there again.

Staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. While the outside is dated and looks a bit rough, the room was newly remodeled and amazing. My kids loved the pool. Breakfast was minimal with just some apples and muffins to grab.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Looks dingy on the outside, but on the inside, our rooms were nice and the furniture seems recently-updated. Be prepared for a strong smell of cattle outside (which is present regardless of which hotel you stay at in Coalinga) but indoors there was no smell. Seems like the place might be undergoing renovations since the curtains were just sheets stapled to the wall. Only issue was the light switches are motion-activated, meaning if you so much as roll over in your sleep, the lights will come on. Previous guests had put duct tape over the sensors with various levels of success. Overall, it was an acceptable place for a 1-night stay while traveling.

The room and accomodations were very nice. Comfortable bed, clean linens, recently remodeled, large-screen TV, good AC, very nice bathroom and excellent shower with quick hot water. The exterior of the building and grounds were very shabby and dirty, the pool was closed by the department of health and the breakfast selection was very poor. Lots of cats everywhere...

The surrounding is not good and smells like pea but I think it’s out of their control. I was very pleased with the room, clean, spacious, had heating, hot water, microwave, fridge and even a stove. Overall I recommend and would stay again.

We stayed in a clean, remodeled room. It had everything needed for a traveler’s overnight stay. As another reviewer commented, there were several cats on the grounds, but they didn’t make any noise. The only drawback was the noisy and bright automatic fan/light in the bathroom that turned on every time approached. We would’ve liked to be able to override it so it didn’t turn on when we got up in the middle of the night.

The property was in very dilapidated conditions. The building had patches where doors and windows used to be and boarded up cut outs on the drywall in the front office. The eating are was very dated. The curtain rod in the shower was broken on one end and there was mold in the shower. There was a HUGE spider in my room right by my shoe and the TV went out on the second night of my stay. Not worth the cost per night. The staff was friendly and helpful, though, when I had to switch rooms because of the TV.

It was good the only thing Is the air conditioner it only blew one way which was up so it took the room a good 3 hours to finally get cold. But other then that the room was clean fast check in no complaints

This hotel was very clean. It is in the stage of getting remodeled. The rooms are very, very nice has a small two top stove a house size refrigerator very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom however, the surrounding area is a big country and smells funny due to all of the cows around the surrounding area. The Wi-Fi did not work and due to the area your phone does not have great service. However, the staff was great as well as the room..

The room was a good price under $100. It came with full size fridge and stove. BUT there were cockroaches. We even found one in our bed the morning after sleeping in it. Breakfast was muffins and apples. Less than the usual travelodge breakfast. Pool was alright but dirty and only one chair the other was broken. Night staff was super nice. Lots of wild cats. Most rooms being remodeled. Wouldn’t stay again but it was good to sleep for the night.

Maybe Better After Remodel Completed?

Front desk and housekeeping staff were very pleasant. Beds and pillows were comfortable. HOWEVER, Major Electrical Problems: ceiling light turned off without warning, had to be switched on over and over; very loud bathroom fan (motion-sensor?) would not stay off; light between beds would not go on. Large refrigerator seems pointless, no ice trays, no dishcloth or dishtowels, no utensils or pans. Toilet seat (standard size) did not fit elongated bowl; need extra grab bar in shower. No ADA accommodations - my sister and I are both over 80 years old.

Great place , nice staff, clean rooms excellent breakfast included in the reservation. The only negative point is there are some flies in the environment, so you better keep the door of your room close. I would definitely stay in this place again.
