Stayed here for a hiking trip to Savage Gulf State Park. Close to all the park entrances and a quiet location. Nicely sized for two people.

Perfect Getaway Spot!

My partner and I chose to stay here due to a concert that was being held close by, but we will be back in the future! The cabin was almost hidden but quaint and absolutely beautiful. 100% recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to stay with captivating scenery and trails nearby.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Nice tidy little cabin with all the comforts of home. Made a for a nice father/son getaway. Peaceful and quiet. Nightly chats by the fire pit and grilled steaks on the little hibachi and they turned out great. Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect little cabin for my husband and I as we visited Savage Gulf State Park and South Cumberland. The cabin had what we needed to fix breakfast and dinner and the refrigerator is super cute.

Cozy, Quiet & an Amazing View

The Oak Cottage was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and tranquil with the Creek just down the hill. We arrived very late but the owner was a gem and brought us a lantern to combat the power outage caused by tornados in the area. 10/10 will stay again.

The pictures you see online are exactly what you get! The place is cozy and the view off the porch is fantastic! Close to waterfalls and day hikes. Met the property owner and his dogs. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

We had planned a couple of days of hiking and exploring waterfalls in the area. The cabin was only a 10 min drive from the entrance to the trail. The one night we spent was a nice romantic getaway.

It was truly magical!! Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, and so many phenomenal places to explore in the area. This gem of a property held its own intrigue with beauty to explore at your doorstep. And magical fairy homes to find, so keep your eyes open, and you might even find Bigfoot!

This is a brand new, very clean, very comfortable cabin elevated 50' above Ranger Creek. Easy, 1 hour access from Chattanooga, 30 minutes to The Caverns concert venue. Savage Gulf and South Cumberland Park trailheads are very close and are exceptional.

Cute cabin in the woods

Great cabin! We stayed here for 4 nights. Clean, comfortable bed, easy parking. Stars were beautiful and plentiful out here! The property was quiet and nice. Neighbors had very nice dogs! Very happy with our choice and we would definitely stay here again, it was nice to stay at a vrbo and not have to start the laundry on the way out. Only complaint was shower hot water could last a little longer. Host communicated very well and answered any questions I had quickly!

Very nice design and very clean. View from deck beautiful. Too remote unless you are planning to be in the area for another event. Inconvenient and very far off the beaten trail to get to. Bath and bedroom on different levels which was inconvenient.
