The only negatives to share is that our room, (3rd floor in second building overlooking the back of property & beach) are what was missing in the room. Primarily a dresser to store clothes and personal items. I have stayed at hundreds of properties and this is the only one that lacked a dresser. There was plenty of room, but space was used for a gigantic writing desk, decor furniture like wine cabinets, and other odd fixtures.
The bathroom seemed recently updated and was very nice, but it lacked any hooks, other than the one on the back of the bathroom door. Zero practicality. The new shower was just a partial glass partition so there is nowhere to hang wet items or towels. Very odd.
The sitting area included an old-fashioned folding coffee table of real, polished wood that really needs coasters to stop water marks from forming.
The general room decor and furnishings had a wine theme that looked dated, and a life size golden lab statue. Also very odd.
Lastly, the wood paneled elevator in the building smelled strongly of Murphys Oil Soap the whole time we were there.
Surprisingly, despite these oddities and questionable design decisions, the graciousness of the staff, the location, cleanliness and free breakfast would make me stay here again.
