There are many wonderful things about the property – great location (close to city beach/park/downtown), lots of room for a large family (there were 9 of us), central A/C, comfortable beds). However, the kitchen is not stocked as well as other rental properties in the area, especially for a 4 bedroom house (i.e. no cookie sheet, no oven mitts, no sharp/decent knives for chopping). You may have to buy or bring a few items if you are doing lots of cooking.
Communication with the owner prior to arrival wasn't great (i.e. there was supposed to be 4 beach chairs...there were only 2, there was supposed to be a play pen...but we couldn't find one, I asked him to let me know when he received my cheque, and he never got back to me). Also, the communication at the house (white binder) wasn't as clear as it could have been (i.e. recycling pick up only every other week, lawn maintenance needs access to the backyard, so cars need to be clear of the back gate, parking permit details, etc.).
