"I was here for three days and each day I was less impressed. I ordered a flank steak med rare from the Tavern and received the most well done steak I've ever received. On top of that, the "chef" said that the rest of the cuts left were not up to their liking and advised me to order the NY Strip instead. It's laughable you even designate someone a chef at such a podunk establishment. On top of that, I found used tissues in my tissue dispenser in my room and while I was walking by front desk I overheard the two employees conversing and one of them said, "Why are we entering rooms while they're occupied and without notice?”. I didn’t probe further but this seems like a huge invasion of privacy at an establishment you literally pay them for. The WIFI is absolute garbage whether you pay for it or not and you can't rely on your cell reception because that too is almost non existent inside the building. There were times where I couldn’t receive messages for multiple hours. I've stayed here in the past and it was fine but this stay was absolute bottom of the line for me. Hope you all improve in the future. "

"Staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel was tidy, surface clean and well vacuumed. The breakfast area was very clean as well. The property itself did need some updating as the carpets and furniture had a musty smell to them due to age. The pillows and bed linen did not smell fresh either. This is the reason I can only give an average rating."

"The staff was super friendly! There was a mis-hap with my booking, and it being canceled due to me being a day late without calling, and the lady at the front desk(wish I could remeber her name) was super kind about and was able to solve it quickly. I didn't know about the "no call no show" policy that most hotels have, so it was on me. And she was super friendly with letting me the policy without sounding demeaning, and solving it with no issue. Also had some friendly guests there as well in the breakfast mornings, but I know that isn’t completely relative to the hotel. Overall everything was great! I look forward to booking them again if I come back to the area."

"The man who checked us in did not seem happy to see us. Usually, staff are welcoming and friendly. Not this guy. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a beautiful view of the lake. For the best view, you need to be higher than the second floor. There were no creamers for the coffee at the pantry. I checked 3 different floors and notified the front desk. It may seem like a minor inconvenience, but when you are in a hurry and need to drive a long distance, it's a problem."
