“Property was OK. The room lighting was abysmal. With every light in the room on, the room still seemed like it was at dusk. Other than that, our state was pleasant.”

“It’s a no frills, easy access, quiet place to stay. The owners are friendly. The rooms are clean. Parking at the room door is convenient. We have stayed there several times and will continue to go there. ”

“Room was fair. Curtains were torn, dirty. No mattress cover to curb or deter bed bugs. Dust bunnies. Something was spread all over the hallway corridor floor, looked like the spackling from the wall. Too hot inbthe room, thenbtoo cold in the room, like thermostat wasn't working. ”

“Breakfast menu was adequate. Was very pet friendly. pool and hot tub water looked gray”

“I absolutely love this bed & breakfast. I cant say enough of the hosts, Barb, Bill, & Jerry! What a treat they are and I have found new friends! The house is immaculate and they let you have your private time, and they also welcome you for a nice conversation. I will definitely be back next time I am in Clare!”

“Insulated cups for hot beverages in room but no coffee pot. No access for ice machine. Very noisy. Neighbors disruptive. Appears police were called.”

“The place was very clean everywhere. Breakfast was very nice. BUT, there are no USB ports in the rooms! I had to go down to the lobby to plug my phone in! This is VERY inconvenient for those of us who use a computer and are in Midland working. Also there aren't hair dryers in the rooms. First time I've ever encountered that! Might not matter to the men, but to us women with long hair...OMG! And last, there is no place in the lobby to buy any toiletries you might have forgotten to pack, much……

“The maintenance guy was laying in our bed with a beer when we walked in our room. He was watching TV. The desk clerk was great and gave us a different room. The maintenance guy argued he was not in our bed but we saw him. Reported to the manager on Monday AM. He said he would look into it. No compensation provided.”

“Shops nearby as well as the expressway. We were able to get a room opposite the expressway but we were close to the back exit and that door was slamming all morning long. Pets are also allowed that we heard barking dogs as well. The room was very comfortable. My only complaint is all the excess noise.”
