“Beautifully done little house with porch and backyard. We’re out at Lake Somerville for a Motorcycle Club birthday party around that time every year and were notified last minute that the only hotel in town was shutting down for one reason or another. I quickly got on Expedia and found this little gem. Instructions sent over email. Thanks so much, looking forward to staying again, vacancy permitting.”

“Just wanted a place to hang out and boy did this place accomplish! Beverly and Donnis met us to go over the intricacies of ranch live/security (or rules). Set a great tone. Had the windows open one night and heard all the birds and outdoors life. Reminded me of the family get- to-gathers of my youth. Nice touches like water, ice, coffee, blankets, pillows, but most of all "quiet". Not sure what it would be like if there was an event going on at the pavilion, but knowing myself, I would have……

“We got this place for a gameday weekend. And it was the perfect retreat from the crazy busyness once the game was over. Super quiet and peaceful out in the country. That said, it takes a little longer to get back to, especially with the traffic after games. I personally think the trade-off is worth it to have a comfortable retreat. Property owner is absolutely the nicest and most responsive host. Any issues you (probably won't) have should be handled quickly.”

“My husband and I went for our anniversary and had a great time. We arrived and had cookies and a personalized note wishing us a happy anniversary waiting inside. The host, Sonia was very nice and helpful. The cabin is cute, a nice place to stay. ”

“We stayed for family weekend and the setting was great. Being on a farm was so rustic but still had ammenties of home. We did not cook on the property as we did not bring pans and such but it was a perfect little cabin on a farm. Clean kots of aleeping space the pond was so pretty and the cows come right up to the cabin.”

“The hou8se itself was extremely clean. And our host was extremely easy to contact. The house did have an ant infestation and we paid quite a bit of money for the property to have a pool, only to get there and the pool be almost disguisting. There were dead leaves and dirt on the bottom of the entire pool. I understand that the house is supposed to be completely accesible and it just didnt feel like we got a fair shake dealing with you guys.”

“Great to get away from the busy Texas A&M campus and host a bbq in the country. Fresh eggs daily from the chickens. The owners even joined us for the graduation celebration. We will be back!”

“I really liked this property because the photos make you think that you are all alone on the property in the country. When we arrived we found out that the cabin is actually in the back of the property. There is a house in the front of the property that I would assume belongs to the owners. The location of the cabin made me feel like it was a guest house. Otherwise it was very quite and no one bothered us while we were there. The host was very sweet and helpful.”

“Best part about this place is the view and peace that comes from being in the country. The cabin was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and the owner provided excellent directions both to the cabin and for check out procedures (very minimal and easy to manage)!”

“Was a grate time house was clean and ready for us. Right next to the lake and the boat ramp was right down the road!! Side note ask for the property manager to send you a pin to the address. There are a few addresses that are the same around the lake”

“The cabin is beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable. The grounds is is well maintained and a perfect setting. The fire pit is a nice touch. I love everything about it. Just bring shampoo and soup for showering.”
