“We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. There are lots of fun things to do in the area - wine tasting, village breaks, trips to the lake - though you will need a car. The hotel……

“As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby……

“Wat een geweldig verblijf hebben wij gehad. Toen we aankwamen bleek dat we een appartement zonder airco hadden gereserveerd en mochten we van Ginevre naar een ander appartement met airco. Dit was geweldig op een hele mooie azienda! We hebben heerlijk gezwommen in beide baden en lekker culinair gegeten in het restaurant, kortom super!”

“Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (1-5-7 Jahre). Die Unterkunft und das Anwesen passten für uns ganz ideal. Die Küche (bestens ausgestattet) war ein häufiger Treffpunkt.Der grosse Pool war sehr gepflegt, wir verbrachte dort viele Stunden.Das Haus ist in bestem Zustand mit täglich gepflegte Aussenanlagen von Francesco. Francesco stand uns in seiner freundlichen Art mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Restauration(en) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und……

“We had a lovely stay, it was so peaceful at the accommodation but within driving distance of so many amazing towns. We did an amazing drive to Orvietto through the countryside and passed an amazing lake. We also enjoyed Marmore waterfalls and Lake Piediluco, a stunning village with boats and even a beach with deckchairs. Communication with the hosts was all on what’s app which made life very easy.”

“Logement très atypique spacieux et confortable. La fraîcheur induite des vieux murs en pierre a été un vrai plus vu la température extérieure. Top le tri des poubelles dans la cuisine. Peu de lumière naturelle vu la taille des fenêtre de l’époque mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Giana est très accueillante et au petit soin pour le petit déjeuner au top !”

“Wir hatten einen traumhaften Sommerurlaub mit 9 Erwachsenen und 13 Kindern/Jugendlichen in Guidos Ferienhaus „Eleonore“. Wir haben den Aufenthalt am großzügigen und sauberen Pool genossen, gemeinsam gekocht und draußen auf der Terrasse gesessen. Billard und Tischtennis wurden gerne genutzt und die Schlafzimmer waren alle individuell und gemütlich. Am ersten Tag gab es Probleme mit einem Bett, sowie einem kaputten Toilettendeckel. Guido hat blitzschnell und diskret einen Austausch veranlasst.……

“How can we say enough about this wonderful property and amazing host? For my husband and myself, it was our second stay at Gian's house, and we wanted to share the experience with friends. It did not disappoint! The three couples each had a very private area of the house with one couple in the master suite, one upstairs with their kitchenette, and the other in the pool house. “We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore.……

“We were 4 groups of close friends with children staying 9 amazing days at Il Belpoggio Su Todi. I highly recommend these beautiful villas. The view was spectacular and the villas very spacious, clean and well maintained. Todi is also a good choice if you want to explore both Umbria and Tuscany. We want to come back! “Jak do Umbrii w okolice Todi to koniecznie do tej willi. Minusów brak a plusów cała masa. Po pierwsze świetni właściciele, od samego początku pomocni, po drugie jeszcze lepsza lokalna opieka od sąsiadki Cristiny (nie ważne, że nie mówi słowa w innym języku niż włoski, jest prawdziwa, niezawodna i zawsze pomocna), po trzecie sama willa, jej wielkość, wyposażenie (ma dosłownie wszystko i jeszcze kilka rzeczy, które można ocenić jako fajnie by było mieć jak np maszyna do chleba czy popcornu), masa……

“We were met at the airport by Stephano (connected with him thru George). We also rented a car from Stephano. We had a pleasant drive to Todi and learned some history of the area. when we arrived at the house the cleaning lady was ill so there was a substitute. She may have felt some pressure since we arrived early. Stephan showed us around the house, which is lovely. George was always available for my many questions. George and his wife had everything we needed for our stay in their house or……

“The family that runs the property speaks wonderful English and is so helpful and works to make your stay comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and well done. Clean and everything works. The location could not be better to be near by shopping and restaurants. They park your car for you for your stay and are always willing to help with maps and directions to places. I loved our stay. Great European breakfast included. ”
