“House was wonderful and had very easy access to the beach”

“We had a great stay at our Vacasa rental and truly enjoyed escaping the cold northern winter for a warmer Christmas break in the South. Key pickup and drop-off at the local office was easy and convenient. The home was cute and comfortable, with all the basic necessities. Just be prepared to bring your own cooking oils, seasonings, and items like foil or plastic wrap. The screened outdoor porch was a highlight and a great place to relax. The location was excellent—an easy walk or short bike……

“Great property! It was clean and ready to go when we got there. We had plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked. Great starter items included with soap, paper towels, etc. Nice that it's located in a gated community. Owner was very responsive to the few questions we had. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Wonderful Edisto home! The home is much larger than the few pictures indicate. The location is 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to Whaley's, perfect! I really enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck during the day. There is a sun porch that runs across the front of the house which I sat on the daybed and watched the cars go by in the evenings. I did not cook, but I did open a cabinet for a coffee cup and plate and they seemed to be well stocked. The queen bed slept very comfortably. The den is……

“We were surprised to find out it was a duplex and not an entire house. There were also a few broken things throughout the house (the toilet handle in the downstairs bathroom, the microwave handle in the kitchen). But the view was indeed stunning and the beach was very nice and quiet!”

“ Perfect for our anniversary. Our dog loved the front screened in porch. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. I was a little intimidated by the "climb" to put the clothes into the washer and take them out. Lol. We loved the shady neighborhood , and the short walk to the beach and to Whaley's.”

“This house was just as described on the VRBO website. Beautiful floor plan, right on the beach with perfect views overlooking the ocean from the deck, well equipped with comfortable patio furniture. Additionally, the kitchen was very well stocked and a few of the “extras” (paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags were very much appreciated. ”

“The pet area was great feature at this house. The kitchen had everything available for making meals. Limited use of TV channels, always asked for subscription for most of the selection picked which was a disappointment.Couple issues that we encountered was with various gaps in the flooring. Almost stub my toes and had to watch my balance walking between master bedroom and bathroom.”
