How heart-warming to hear 'Welcome back to Colmar' from the receptionist as it's our second visit to this lovely little town. Located in a quiet street, it's cosy to stay in a clean room with all basic necessities. In close proximity to Petite Venice, we could go out for a morning walk enjoying its tranquility and trying the freshly baked croissants at 8 am. Helpful staff also printed the time schedule of the bus for the little towns nearby. The bright flowers outside the hotel and its exterior are delightful. Beautiful experience and good value. Highly recommended.
The room was tiny. The bed almost completely filled the room and was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in, almost as hard as a bare floor. The bathroom was laid out in such a way that the toilet was right up against the shower making it difficult to sit on the toilet because my knees hit the shower door. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient. If they have larger rooms, take them because the economy room is not comfortable at all.
