Für uns war hier einfach alles perfekt ! Schon vor der Anreise bekamen wir wertvolle Tipps von Christa und Pascal. Als ruhiger Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen oder als Startpunkt zum Meer oder den vielen sehenswerten Orten in der Region mit dem Auto. Wer einen wunderschönen ruhigen Ort sucht, wo man im Garten relaxen kann und diesen als Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten nutzt, ist hier genau richtig. Was für herzliche Gastgeber, die uns jederzeit, wenn wir sie brauchten, mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen. Englisch, Spanisch, Deutsch und Französisch, Kommunikation in 4 Sprachen möglich. Also wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Just perfect
We had an amazing stay in casita Elisa. The owners Christa & Pascal live in the adjacent house and are always available for practical questions or a quick chat. Also, they really make an effort to make you feel at home and give you a lot of privacy and space. We found them to be perfect hosts. The casita itself is very well equipped and beautifully decorated with art from Christa. The many outside terraces give you a lot of options to seek shade and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views while enjoying a good glas of wine and a meal cooked on the barbecue or in the kitchen. There are many options for day trips to villages and cities nearby. Also, it's a good idea to bring hiking boots because there are many hiking trails starting at the casita by foot or just a 10 minutes drive away by car. Pascal was more than happy to help us with giving advice on good routes. The views of the night sky and stars by the pool at night were also incredible. We won't hesitate to come back and definitely recommend this piece of Andalusian paradise. Thank you.

Wonderful experience!
If you are looking for a quit place to relax and unwind look no further! This ist he spot! The casita offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a beautiful garden, a very nice pool, everything you basically need for a quite vacation away from it all and close to pristine nature. Being tucked away from the main roads, noise and pollution it´s the perfect spot to enjoy tranquility and recharge. Pascal and Christa are great hosts, lovely, open-minded people and a pleasure to be around. Overall an unforgetable experience which we are definetly considering on repeating sometimes in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderfully relaxing week here, managing to switch off totally. As so many guests have said, Christa and Pascal were perfect hosts being attentive and friendly, in fact totally charming, but ensuring that we had total privacy. Yes, the casita is attached, but we weren’t aware of the owners at all and were very happy playing our music and getting on with winding down! The casita is small, but we found it had what we needed for the stay and has a surprisingly well equipped kitchen. And as people have commented, the bed/twin mattresses are sturdy and very comfortable. The gardens are stunning along with the views and the local area is so picturesque, being an area of outstanding natural beauty. I particularly enjoyed the local people who were extremely friendly and welcoming (albeit the local towns are very quiet and you need to pick your times to shop!) We had excellent sea bass from the local fishmonger which we barbecued one evening. We were fortunate enough to be staying when Christa had a exhibition of her work on nearby, along with an evening of food and flamenco dancing at a venue that was as exquisite as surprising. Fortunately Christa had told us about the event and it was certainly an evening not to forget! We highly recommend this casita, off the beaten track, in a beautiful protected area, yet only an hour away from the bustle of the coast and beaches. And we hope to return again, now we have stumbled across this little jewel.

Wundervolle Gastgeber, wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mitten in der Natur
Wir haben eine Woche bei Christa und Pascal gewohnt. Sofort haben wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten ist wunderschön und gepflegt, die Umgebung ist großartig, inmitten der Berge, Schafe und Pferde nebenan. Einkaufen kann man in den kleinen Bergdörfern in der Umgebung. Christa und Pascal sind wunderbare Menschen, die wir sofort ins Herz geschlossen haben, sie sind wahnsinnig bemüht, dass es einem gut geht und sind sehr rücksichtsvoll, einen niemals zu stören. Der Pool ist sauber und gut temperiert. Es gibt eine Tischtennis Platte und ein Petanque-Feld sowie einen liebevoll gestalteten „Philosophenweg“ einmal um das Grundstück herum. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% empfehlen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben es sehr geschätzt, bei den Eigentümern zu wohnen, dadurch hatte die Unterkunft eine sehr persönliche Note und ist definitiv etwas ganz besonderes!

Alex and and I had a lovely, relaxing stay at this beautifully located property high in the mountains above Malaga. The owners, Christa and Pascal, live on the site and could not have been better hosts. When we couldn't find the property on arrival day they went out of their way to offer guidance. We were welcomed with everything tired and hot travellers could want. Wine, beer and other treats were waiting. (As an aside, I would strongly advise visitors arriving on a Saturday to bring some provision as finding open shops on Saturday afternoon isn't too easy. Once you get to know the area, this isn't a problem. The property is wholly self contained and is well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom areas. We had extensive grounds to ourselves with a choice of places to eat and drink in the evenings. The gardens are well maintained and proffer much needed shade during the heat of the day. The alternative method of cooling off is a clean and compact swimming pool. Pascal always asks before covering it overnight. The area is what we call in Britain one of outstanding natural beauty. The mountains change hue as the sun moves from dawn till dusk. Evening in the garden here is guaranteed to relieve the stress of anyone seeking a relaxed spot for a late bottle of Fino. Internally, the property is tastefully decorated with some of Christa's own impressive photographs and artwork so if you want to relax indoors that is a real bonus. There are small supermarkets within ten or fifteen minutes drive and a restaurant at nearby Alfarnnatejo which serves hearty Andalucian mountain food on a balcony with stunning views. Seville, Granada , Malaga and Cordoba are easily reachable for days at a leisurely driving pace. All in all, this is a secluded, beautiful location with attentive, kind hosts who let you enjoy your stay undisturbed unless you need any help in which case they are always there, very happy to do anything in their power. As a final point I would only have one regret: that we didn't share some food and wine with our hosts earlier - we only got chatting properly when we were leaving. They are worth getting to know if you get the chance. I recommend this property unreservedly, especially for couples who enjoy the real Andalucia.

Ssst… hou dit paradijsje voor jezelf!
Wij sluiten ons volledig aan bij alle positieve woorden van onze voorgangers. Wat een fijn casita, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijke douche en goede bedden. Al leef je voornamelijk buiten in de heerlijke tuin of bij het zwembad, ook binnen is het prima vertoeven. Er is geen airco, maar binnen blijft het stenen huis lekker koel. De fijne en gastvrije eigenaren wonen geschakeld, schuin boven de casita. Zij respecteren de privacy van hun bezoekers, maar staan altijd voor hun gasten klaar indien gewenst. De weg naar de casita is een typisch landweggetje. Een iets hogere auto is geen overbodige luxe. Een tweede tip: ga dit paradijsje ervaren, maar houdt het onder ons :-)

An amazing Andalusian holiday to treasure!
We booked Casita Elisa for our trip, partly from the photos, but mainly because of the 5 star reviews, & we were certainly not disappointed. The casita was clean, well-equipped & ideal for two people & we can vouch for the comfortable mattresses! The pool & beautiful grounds were a real oasis & we really appreciated being able to enjoy the tranquility of both the sunny and shady areas that the garden offered. Pétanque became an evening favourite, as did walks 'out the back' with stunning views. Christa & Pascal were such accommodating & kind hosts, always available, but never intrusive, & their suggestions for places to visit were most welcome. We came away feeling rather sad to be saying farewell to them & their lovely home, but that's definitely a sign of a happy holiday, one that we shall always have fond memories of!

El alojamiento en sí está bien, algunas mesas aún tenían telarañas bajo ellas, dice que hay lavadora pero no la hay, los dueños viven literalmente encima del alojamiento, por lo que la privacidad es la justa, la piscina también puede ser usada por los dueños a pesar de que está incluida en el alquiler. Está bien como alojamiento para desconectar y descansar, los dueños son bastante amables, pero no es lo que yo recomendaría si lo que busca una pareja es privacidad.

We had the best time staying in Christa and Pascal's perfect little casita! The accomodation was great - so much room for two people. Excellent cooking facilities with everything you could need. The pool area was beautiful and completely private which was dreamy! Loved the patanque and ping pong as well - excellent outside areas with loads of places to eat all your meals! The area was beautiful - incredible views of the mountains! We loved every minute here and Christa and Pascal were so friendly and welcoming! We even went for dinner together on our last night! Casa Christa is a true piece of paradise in a pastoral setting. The cozy casita is adjacent to the main house but offering independence and privacy. Pascal and Christa are very welcoming hosts who enjoy sharing their corner of Andalusia with travellers. Amongst their gardens and pool and special settings throughout you will no doubt discover peaceful and healing moments. This property we experienced more as a place of retreat in nature. We spent 10 days here and enjoyed every moment. Casa Christa is located about 10 minutes from Alfarnate, surrounded by striking hills and deep valleys. You definitely need a car to access Casa Christa and all that the area has to offer. It would be wise to buy your groceries ahead especially if you have any special needs. Alfarnate does have a very small grocery store, a bakery and butcher. On Saturdays there is an outdoor market. So you can actually get a lot of necessities but not not much choice. Also there are very few places to dine out, but we are good cooks and enjoyed our meals in the lovely gardens of Casa Christa. The area offers many trails for hiking and biking, road trips with picnics. And there are plenty of towns worth a visit as a day trip. This was a great place to unwind!

Die beste Entscheidung für "Entspannung" bei liebevollen Gastgebern
Wer Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Abgelegen, ruhig, idyllisch und traumhaft schön beschreibt es in Schlagworten. Ab dem ersten Moment fühlt man sich wie zu Hause es ist ein magischer Wohlfühlort der bis in die kleinste Ecke mit ganz viel liebe zum Detail gefüllt ist. Die Fotos beschreiben es schon ziemlich gut und in live ist es trotzdem noch viel schöner. Der Garten ist wunderschön und lädt an so vielen Plätzen zum verweilen, lesen und entspannen ein. Das Gleiche gilt für den wunderschönen Pool und die sehr gemütlichen Liegen. Es fehlt einem wirklich an nix. Die Unterkunft ist ebenfalls mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht alles ist super sauber und man hat vom ersten Moment ein "zu Hause" Gefühl. Christa und Pascal waren für uns die absolut angenehmsten und freundlichsten Gastgeber die ich jemals kennengelernt habe. Sehr zuvorkommend super hilfsbereit jederzeit greifbar und doch wie unsichtbar. Wir hatten viele schöne Gespräche und mein persönliches Highlight war Pascal auf eine Wanderung begleiten zu dürfen. Sehr zu empfehlen weil es zwei ganz besondere Menschen und ein ganz besonderer Ort ist. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen Stefanie & Marcel

Wunderschöne Casita an einem traumhaften Ort
Nachdem wir uns schon in die Bilder verliebt haben, waren wir vor Ort nur noch mehr begeistert! Eine so liebevoll hergerichtete Unterkunft haben wir noch nie gehabt. Nicht nur die Casita war gemütlich und groß genug für zwei Personen - Der Garten inklusive Pool war einfach ein Paradies inmitten beeindruckender Berge. Christa und Pascal haben nicht nur eine wunderschöne Casa, sondern sind auch sehr wunderbare Menschen. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und hatten auch tolle gemeinsame Abende. Wer eher für sich sein möchte, muss trotzdem keine Bedenken haben, da Dank des eigenen Außenbereichs genug Privatsphäre vorhanden ist. Es war ein sehr beruhigendes Gefühl, Ansprechpartner vor Ort zu haben, die einen mit Tipps zur Seite stehen und bei Fragen immer weiterhelfen konnten. Die gemeinsame Wanderung in die Berge war auch toll und beeindruckend. Wir können diesen Ort zu 100% weiterempfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. So tolle Menschen muss man wiedersehen :)

Un séjour merveilleux qui colle parfaitement à la définition de vacances en couple, où calme, détente et tranquillité sont les maîtres mots. La maison est parfaitement équipée, et conforme aux descriptions qui en sont faites; la piscine ajoutant un ++ indéniable. Christa et Pascal sont des hôtes charmants et discrets, mais néanmoins à l'écoute et toujours prêts à dispenser de bons conseils. Je recommande vivement cette location, qui permet de découvrir un joli pan de l'Andalousie (Malaga, Cordoue, Grenade, Ronda, Camino del Rey...), très bien desservi par le réseau routier . Merci à nos hôtes pour l'excellent accueil qu'ils nous ont prodigué avant et pendant notre séjour.

Heerlijke vakantie
Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Casa Christa. Het appartementje is onderdeel van het het grotere huis, met volledige privacy en erg mooi gelegen in de mooie tuin met verschillende terrasjes en een heerlijk zwembad. Het huisje is precies goed voor twee personen, erg schoon en met een goed uitgeruste keuken en badkamer met douche en slaapkamer met goed bed. De omgeving is prachtig met de kleine dorpjes Alfarnate en Alfarnatejo in de buurt en andere mooie dorpen en steden in de omgeving. De ontvangst van Pascal en Christa was erg vriendelijk en ze zijn altijd beschikbaar voor vragen. Het pad naar het huis kan met een te lage auto een uitdaging zijn, maar het huis is verder goed bereikbaar. Al met al een echte aanrader voor wie van rust en natuur houdt!

Splendid stay
We really enjoyed our stay at casa christa! The reality is even better than the pictures. Because of the quiet location we experienced a lot of privacy. This is the perfect match during these crazy times. However, if you want to do some touristic daytrips, it is possible! For example, we did some daytrips to Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Comares and Malaga. The private pool in the garden was just perfect and the accomodation was very clean. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and enjoyed the meals at one of the terraces with a view at the surrounding mountains.

De zorg en de communicatie met Christa en Pascal waren uitstekend. Bij aankomst werden we opgewacht door Christa en Pascal, er was een fles wijn en de boodschappen die we nodig hadden, door hen verzorgd, waren er. Un endroit idyllique aussi bien la maison que les extérieurs. Christa et Pascal sont des hôtes très accueillants, toujours disponibles tout en étant discrets. Une belle maison bien équipée, bien décorée, chaleureuse, un jardin magnifique avec piscine, piste de pétanque et table de ping pong, le tout couronné d'une vue sublime. Sehr hübsche Maisonette-Wohnung, gut gepflegt und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Großes , bequemes Doppelbett und wunderschöner Garten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Das Haus liegt ruhig und abgelegen, dennoch ist man schnell an der Küste und in Granada. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Traumhaft schöne Ferien
Christa und Pascal sind ganz tolle und liebe Vermieter. Sie stehen einem immer mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Sie geben tolle Tips, was man alles unternehmen kann. Die Ferienwohnung Casa Elisa hat alles was man benötigt. Sie ist top ausgestattet und trifft zu 100% auf die Beschreibung zu. Das Terassenförmige Grundstück ist mit ganz viel Liebe angelegt und hat viele kleine Ecken zum verweilen. Wir haben uns nach unseren Städtetouren (Malaga, Granada usw.) an dem wunderschönen Pool entspannt und erholt... Der Pool ist übrigens ein Highlight, wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs war. In Alfarnate, ca. 10 Minuten von Casa Elisa entfernt, gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen, einen Metzger und auch einen kleinen Bäcker. Man benötigt auf jedenfall ein Auto. Bis nach Malaga sind es ca. 45 Minuten. Wer sich erholen möchte und ganz viel Ruhe braucht ist bei Christa und Pascal am richtigen Ort. Wir können die Ferienwohnung Casa Elisa auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Christa und Pascal.

Vacances relaxantes et culturelles: exceptionnelles
La propriété est très agréable avec son environnement verdoyant et rafraîchissant, une piscine où après une journée de visites on adore se ressourcer, la maison est fraîche et très bien équipée, dotée d'une literie irréprochable. Une voiture est indispensable car la propriété est à l'écart dans la montagne, village à 5kms, tout en étant à 45 minutes de la mer et des principaux cites touristiques. Que dire des propriétaires? Ils sont plus qu'à l'écoute, ils anticipent vos besoins tout en étant d'une discrétion absolue, Ils sont d'un contact facile et toujours disponibles pour vous conseiller. Bref ils sont parfaits Sylvie et Alain

Wow , simply wow !
This property was outstanding , the measure of our dreams , perfect , relaxation , private and beautiful . Our hosts Christa and Pascal were exceptional and always went the "extra mile " to be helpful . Lovely people , we will return . The views were stunning and the wildlife was just incredible. A local village was an 8 minute drive away with such charm and offered a small supermarket which provided everything we needed . Paradise indeed . The local market on a Friday was an added bonus to the authenticity of Alfranate , the mountain views , warmth and appreciation of resident people made at feel comfortable and welcomed. Perfect hosts in the best location . We felt at home .

True Paradise
We had a fantastic experience staying at this property. The surroundings are beautiful and very tranquil with wonderful gardens and terraces for enjoying alfresco meals. A fabulous place to get away from the hustle bustle of everyday life and escape to some peace and quiet with a beautiful pool to swim in. Christa and Pascal are brilliant hosts and are very understanding and charming with it. They are readily available if you need anything but otherwise happy to let you enjoy the wonderful space they provide. The accommodation is well designed and thoughtout so we didn't need much. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment well equipped. Would love to visit again. Highly recommended for those who thirst for tranquility. Christa and Pascal thank you so much for sharing your wonderful space.

Paradise found!
What a fabulous find high up in the stunning mountainside scenery around alfarnate. The casita was absolutely perfect and had all of the amenities needed to ensure a wonderful holiday. It was just stunning, serene, calm, and totally private. The hosts were amazing. They were so friendly and helpful and quickly became firm and special friends. The whole area is stunning, authentic village life in a pristine and wo detful natural environment where the light quality is the best possible. This was a truly special week with truly special hosts and it was a privilege and a sheer delight to have been able to enjoy such a fabulous week in heaven.thank you so much Christa and Pascal you gave us a memorable experience which we hope to repeat very soon best wishes Geoff and Clare

Idyllic retreat
Christa and Pascal the owners of the property are such nice people, they are passionate that all guests have an enjoyable relaxing stay. They met us when we first arrived, provided a little tour of garden and pool area and then around the house. Everything has been well thought out for their guests, plenty of seating areas, in the sun or shade. The house and gardens are very clean and tidy and everything that you need was provided. We would definitely return should we get the chance to. Thank you Christa and Pascal for ensuring that we had a lovely holiday.

We had the most enjoyable stay in Casa Elisa, lovely and interesting hosts, peaceful to stay in the beautiful garden, cosy and confortable house, visiting Antequera, with a rich culture, churches, convents and museum, Comeras, Archidona,... discovering local villages, having tapas, feeling the folklore and history of this part of Spain! Een heerlijk verblijf om te verblijven. Temidden van alleraardigste dorpjes en nederzettingen is het fijn vertoeven. De goed ingerichte woning, voorzien van letterlijk alle comfort, is groot genoeg om met 2 personen te genieten. Met de verhuurders is er een charmant contact. Aardige mensen. Voor ons was het, na 2018, een tweede bezoek en dat is ons heel goed bevallen.

Perfekter Rückzugsort zum Ausspannen
Wir haben im November eine wundervolle Woche in der Einliegerwohnung von Christa und Pascal verbracht. Die Casa Christa liegt völlig abgeschieden in den Bergen und ist ein Paradies für alle, die entschleunigen wollen. Weite Berglandschaften für ausgiebige Spaziergänge, Ruhe bei Tag und bei Nacht, perfekte Einrichtung der Ferienwohnung (die Betten sind ungemein bequem!). Der terrassenförmig angelegte Garten ist über verschlungene Pfade bewanderbar. Die eingestellten Bilder spiegeln die vorgefundene Situation zu 100% wider. Christa und Pascal sind sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber und wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir können jedem einen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen und werden dort bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder Quartier beziehen.

Heerlijk rustgevend en gastvrij
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Christa en Pascal. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Alles was aanwezig voor de eerste dagen, heerlijke tuin, vogelguiden en geitjes met hun bel. Leuke uitstapjes gemaakt naar Granada, Antiquera, El Torcal en Malaga. Lekker gegeten bij Bodega El Flores in Colemar. Kortom super plek in een rustgevende en mooie omgeving !!! Niet twijfelen gewoon boeken.

Accueil très chaleureux, jardin remarquable, belle piscine, logement agréable et bien décoré
Malgré une météo calamiteuse, Christa et Pascal ont fait le maximum pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. Le logement est coquet et bien équipé. La situation est calme et le jardin très agréable. A recommander. Tenir compte toutefois d’une localisation assez isolée qui implique un temps de route significatif.

Die ideale Unterkunft zum Entspannen.
Die Besitzer sind äusserst freundlich,hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der liebevoll eingerichteten "Casa Elisa". Das Ambierte lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht.

A lovely mountain retreat
We really enjoyed our visit to Casita Elisa in sunny October. It’s a lovely place for a quiet getaway from city life, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy mattresses, lovely garden and a great selection of indoor and outdoor games. The surrounding countryside is stunning and Córdoba, Granada and Malaga are easily reachable by car. Christa and Pascal are generous and welcoming hosts who make delicious olive oil!

Toller Garten, schöne Wohnung, herzliche Gastgeber
Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Christa und Pascal empfangen, sie gaben wenn man wollte ganz unaufdringlich viele nützliche Tips wo man gut einkaufen kann, was sehenswert in der Umgebung ect. ist. Man hat die Möglichkeit viele Ausflüge zu unternehmen (Cordoba, Granada....) und wir haben uns danach auf den wunderschönen großen Garten, ein Buch und die Ruhe gefreut. Wir können uns gut vorstellen nochmal unseren Urlaub dort zu verbringen

Wonderful stay with very lovely hosts
An excellent place to unwind, recharge batteries and lounge by the pool set in beautifully tended gardens. Hospitality of Christa and Pascal was second to none so that we didn’t want for anything. Quiet and peaceful this little gem is nestled in the mountains and full of character. The visitors book is full of happy guest comments which we wholeheartedly agree with. No hesitation in returning here and highly recommend.

Rencontre formidable à la Case CHRISTA
La Casa CHRISTA, un endroit où l'on se sent bien, un gîte douillet. Tout est conforme aux photos. Un jardin qui fait rêver, très bien entretenu, très fleuri et coloré, et au milieu de cet endroit magique la piscine qui est bien agréable où les ploufs sont appréciables. Il y a des endroits que l'on ne veux pas quitter, et c'était le cas pour nous, un gros pincement au cœur avant de reprendre la route. Un grand merci à Christa & Pascal, des hôtes charmants, très accueillants, d'une grande discrétion tout en étant disponible pour nous conseiller tout au long de notre séjour (sans oublier le cadeau de bienvenue). Sans hésiter, arrêtez-vous à la Casa Christa, vous ne serez pas déçu.
