Lovely hotel out of the city. There is a train station 15min walk away or you can walk across the pedestrian bridge to Cologne Cathedral in 30mins. Spacious room and good bathroom.

Very nice

We stayed here to see Christmas markets in Cologne. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice. Location was not really directly near the center of the city action, however it was a ten minute walk to the train into Cologne. We also used the gym. It was very basic, but worked. Our only complaint was the room being too hot (in December).

The room’s a/c unit didn’t work. The bathtub is extremely dangerous. I’m very fit and I almost slipped getting in and out several times. Don’t expect great customer service. I’d probably stay almost anywhere else.

Very good experience

Beautiful, big, clean room. The TV mostly had German channels, but you can connect your phone and stream Netflix, HBO or whatever you have - I thought that was very clever and convenient. And they also had good, stable Wi-Fi. The service was great - immediately I felt welcome. There is a small spa with 2 saunas and a gym with treadmills, bicycle, weights and a couple of machines. Breakfast was great and with small changes every day.

The hotel itself was great, with nice, clean rooms and fast service. But the parking on site is terrible, with extremely limited number of spots which are not available for reservation either. When asked about parking at the front desk, basically had the front desk staff worker laugh in our face, followed by a sarcastic remark. With no intent to even suggest any alternatives when asked about other parking possibilities. I may expect that kind of attitude in a god forgotten hostel but not at a global hotel chain, with a €270 price per night for a simple room...
