"There are many good things to say about this property. The front desk staff is amazing, the location is good, and the rooms are freshly renovated.
However, there are multiple issues that I recommend management should look into:
- Rooms: the mattresses were extra firm (an interesting choice), and they had the most bizarre sheet situation: an open-sheet duvet where the cover easily slid off (nothing holding it in place), and no fitted sheet. I’m sure it makes housekeeping’s job easier, but it would also slide off and we would end up sleeping directly on the mattress. Regarding the bathroom, the toilet choice was very poor. Instead of a normal push button to flush, it was retrofitted with a foot lever (akin to ones found in public restrooms) which was placed between the toilet and the shower door. Every flush required coordination not to slip. And they didn’t leave a single extra roll of toilet paper. Pretty disappointing.
- Property: the elevators are in really poor shape.
- Dining: I hope you don’t have any allergies or intolerances, because not only is nothing labeled on the menu, sometimes dishes came with bonus ingredients that shouldn’t have been there and weren’t listed in the description. There were only two vegan options available in the room service menu— a fruit platter and a soup, and I’m not even sure the soup was vegan. I had to explain to a staff member that butter is dairy. You work in hospitality/tourism, so this is unacceptable. Food allergies can ruin a trip."
