"We had to go out and purchase cleaning supplies from neighborhood Walmart to clean the excessive amount of dust and dirt from the room. I have an allergy to mold and dust and there was no way I could stay in the room without doing so. We had to sanitize the air, the carpets, the curtains, beds, clean off all the wood. It was really poorly maintained. The place seriously needs updating and they really need to pull that carpet up off the floors because it has seen better days and there was no way I was going to walk on it without any shoes on. Other than that the ocean view was beautiful. We could sleep with the patio door open because the breeze was so nice and it was bug free every day! There is also way too much bleach in the pool. I would consider returning again, if they seriously put money into sprucing up the site. Beyond that, though the staff was very accommodating, and even though the floor housekeeper was away for the weekend, her replacement did a very good job, making sure that our room was tidied up in addition to what we had to do to clean it."

"The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and yes they offer free breakfast at a restaurant across the street. Take advantage of that but hopefully that restaurant will step it up. Their eggs aren't as hot as they should have been because by the time you get them to your table after visiting the buffet, they're cold. But the rest of it the grits, bacon & fruit. Delicious. We had a couple of favored people who really stepped up with service the waitress Jen and the hostess I think she said her name was Beth? Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 11am but they start breaking the buffet down at 10:30, just don't be any later than 10: 15am Also when it comes to parking go in person to PAY location on 9th just down from the board walk, and get a pass. Being over 60 to park in the parking deck was just too much walking. We paid $50 for 5 days totally worth it. It also gave us free parking at the city meters. We wanted to stay 2 additional days but I couldn't reach Hotels.com I left a message but no one called back. So if you book through Hotels.com be sure to definitely know how long you desire to stay. It's not something you can change. At Carolinian beach resort their whole grounds were well kept and we really enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping was great too! Debra was very welcoming at check in. At check out was Keisha also very polite and wished us safe travels going home. 😇 Thank you Carolinian Beach Resort at Myrtle Beach South Carolina! "

"This resort was wonderful, we stayed in a 1br suite on the 17th floor. Me, my wife, and our two girls 5 and 2. This resort won us over, from the rooms, to the amenities, to the staff, we were pleased all around! The room was plenty big enough for our little family and we felt very well accommodated in all aspects. we’ve been going to a different resort for years and this will definitely be our new getaway spot."
