“We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. There are lots of fun things to do in the area - wine tasting, village breaks, trips to the lake - though you will need a car. The hotel……

“As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby……

“We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful cottage. It is part of an ancient castello, as a separate little house (the old mill) and with all modern amenities, lovingly restored. The views from the beautiful garden are absolutely stunning, and we much enjoyed our breakfasts in the sunshine outside. “Das Haus und die Lage ist echt super, die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns eine Reihe von Aktivitäten angeboten, die wir ganz einfach und simpel über sie buchen konnten. Einziger Minuspunkt: Wir wollten die Villa für 24 Personen buchen und das hat dann bedeutet, dass zum Preis hier auf FeWo Direkt noch einmal 700€ dazu kamen. Diese "versteckten" Kosten haben uns gestört, ansonsten war's top!”

Die Küche (bestens ausgestattet) war ein häufiger Treffpunkt.Der grosse Pool war sehr gepflegt, wir verbrachte dort viele Stunden.Das Haus ist in bestem Zustand mit täglich gepflegte Aussenanlagen von Francesco. “Even though this house was out of the way it was comfortable, spacious and provided us with a serene space after each day of sight seeing and travel in both Umbria and Tuscany. It was just what we were looking for to accomodate our family group and we enjoyed many good times. The siting of the apartment was a plus as we were able to witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets from our eyrie.”

“Logement très atypique spacieux et confortable. La fraîcheur induite des vieux murs en pierre a été un vrai plus vu la température extérieure. Top le tri des poubelles dans la cuisine. Peu de lumière naturelle vu la taille des fenêtre de l’époque mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Giana est très accueillante et au petit soin pour le petit déjeuner au top !”

“Wir hatten einen traumhaften Sommerurlaub mit 9 Erwachsenen und 13 Kindern/Jugendlichen in Guidos Ferienhaus „Eleonore“. Wir haben den Aufenthalt am großzügigen und sauberen Pool genossen, gemeinsam gekocht und draußen auf der Terrasse gesessen. Billard und Tischtennis wurden gerne genutzt und die Schlafzimmer waren alle individuell und gemütlich. Am ersten Tag gab es Probleme mit einem Bett, sowie einem kaputten Toilettendeckel. “How can we say enough about this wonderful property and amazing host? For my husband and myself, it was our second stay at Gian's house, and we wanted to share the experience with friends. The covered dining area was a perfect place for family meals. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside and the beautiful setting of the villa.”

“We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore.……
