Everything was clean. The host answers emails quickly and was very nice. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone to stay in while in Colorado Springs.

Miserably hot

Cute spot, but the air conditioner shown in the photos is broken, so they are expecting to cool the whole space with a portable ac unit on the floor of the bedroom. The bathroom is in the very back, so the temperature was 86 degrees in the back of the unit for most of the time we were there. It only got lower on the morning of our departure because it rained overnight and cooled off. We weren’t told that it was one portable unit trying to cool the entire space or we would’ve made other arrangements. When I mentioned this to the property owner/manager, the lack of communication was absurd. Slow or would mention fixes that needed to be made with the electrical. None of that involved me. They never did do anything to make our stay more comfortable. Just possible solutions mentioned that were never followed through on. You can slap some paint on something and try to make it great, but if the space is uncomfortably hot, you need to find a better solution instead of telling me “others didn’t have an issue”. Well, we did. We don’t want to sleep where it is 80 and doesn’t cool down until after 4am. This might be a good spot if they would fox the temperature issues and the slow communication.
