Our Villa, in the center of Colorado Springs, offers the comfort of your own home with a spectacular view of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains. Accommodations include 2 newly renovated bedrooms with queen-size beds. Bedrooms have large closets with hangers, and if needed, and iron and board. The West bedroom offers a great view of Pikes Peak. The kitchen, complete with a new refrigerator and dish washer, electric stove, has all the appliances and utensils, including a Keurig coffee maker and microwave. Look out the kitchen window and you’ll see beautiful Pikes Peak of Katherine Lee Bates’s memorial poem and song America the Beautiful.
The spacious dining area can seat 12, and the living room has a wide screen TV with Comcast services plus WiFi. The “Blue Room” easily serves as an office with a small desk and WiFi as well. The newly refurbished bathroom includes a full tub and shower, new lights and a vanity, a hair dryer, plus big towels and complimentary soaps and shampoo. The spacious veranda has a bar-b-que grill and a great view of the local neighborhood, Pikes Peak, and an occasional “urbanized” deer or fox may trot by for a photo-op for your Facebook trip news.
Our Villa, a non-smoking property nestled in a quiet neighborhood has a semi-circular driveway for safe and easy off-street parking. A short drive east you’ll find shopping for groceries, a bank, and the post office; to the south, about a mile, the Olympic Training Center, and a short hop to the west -- Colorado College. Our Colorado Springs airport is about 15 minutes away. Centrally located historic downtown Colorado Springs offers numerous restaurants, shops, entertainment, the Pioneers Museum, the Fine Arts Center, Monument Valley Park and numerous bike trials in the city and the foothills.
Our Villa offers you the safety and security with the comforts of home with the beauty of the Pikes Peak region, clear mountain air, and the best pure Rocky Mountain drinking water in the United States.

This was a great place to stay. The hosts communicated well. We had no problems. The place was wonderful, well equipped, clean, very comfortable and homey. There were little things that were above and beyond. We especially like the "library" in the back room. You can leave a buck and take any book! We took three. Easy to get to, centrally located. Easy to get anywhere. We will stay here again if possible when we come back. Great view.

Perfect location

This is an older home that has been taken care of with TLC. It could use a little updating but it’s none the less perfect for a family. The location is perfect for anywhere you want to go. There is a beautiful view of Pikes Peak sitting on the back patio. The VRBO owners are wonderful to talk to and there if you need anything, always concerned that we were doing well. We would stay here again.

Great place with a beautiful view!

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was a good fit for my husband and I and my 95 yr old mom. Only issue is that it said handicap accessible and there were a couple of entry steps. But not too difficult with the walker. The place was in a great location and a great view of Pikes Peak every morning!

Family Visit

We were excited after reading about this property, many had wonderful things to say. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The only thing that was clean were the bed and bath linens. We cleaned the house ourselves instead of contacting the property manager since we wanted to spend our time with family, not a cleaning company. I contacted the manager on our return home. I had to leave two messages on two different days. When I was contacted, I explained the problems, and sent pictures. I was told she would be in contact with the owners in a day or two. I contacted her after a week and asked for my cleaning deposit back since the house wasn't clean. She returned the deposit. I was extremely disappointed in her lack of concern about the condition of the home. Hopefully they have changed cleaning companies.

Outdated

The home is very outdated and looked unclean because everything was so old. Both couches were uncomfortable as were the queen beds. Kitchen counter tops are tile with grout and it was moldy looking, we opted not to use the kitchen and ate out. Both bathrooms need major updates as does most of the house. There is no air conditioning, fans are provided but most windows couldn’t be opened due to no screens so the house was stuffy and very warm. There are two beehives in the backyard which were not in the description, thankfully we were not allergic. We definitely will not book this house again.

Comfortable Villa

It was a comfortable older style house. Everything worked and it was easy to get to destinations from the villa. Old wood floors that will creek when you walk in them gives you a vibe from a different era. Bathrooms are older and functional. One narrow bathroom and one spacious bathroom. I would stay here again. Gives you space without breaking your budget.
