We had a very short stay for reasons unrelated to travel or pleasure, but based on the charm and accommodations we intend to come again for a weekend of rest and relaxation.

Beautiful location for a low-key getaway. Older property but beautifully maintained with lots of character. The carriage house loft was lovely and spacious, and we enjoyed the common areas (main house living room, fireplace, kitchen, and outdoor spaces). Great home base for exploring the area. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was cozy, the bed was great and the amenity’s are wonderful! You have access to a kitchen and laundry room which was extremely helpful for our flight back home. And the fire pit outside was great.

Nice property, and lovely room. Perfect spot for our hiking. However, the bathroom sink was clogged pretty badly and would not drain without help, and the dust was pretty bad (window sills, floors…). Real coffee mugs would be MUCH better than paper cups.

There much thought in making the room cozy but convenient. From Lighting and electic wall socket's placement to to bathrobes and a lantern to walk to the hot tub nearby. The outdoor and indoors eating cooking areas and stone circle firepit are very inviting. A very historic feel with all the deep redstone steps, long covered porches, and scenic seating areas. All Very elegantly updated, scattered modern art painting and fixtures, but still has a historic touch. We Especially Loved the thick Velvet curtains over the bay window and big walk in tile shower. It was like coming home. Defiantly will be back!

Everything was spic and span. Quiet neighborhood. There was a really nice bar close by a breakfast and lunch place also and an Italian restaurant. We did not check out. Such a beautiful house- we hardly wanted to leave to go sightseeing! Kids loved the bunk beds, roasting marshmallows and playing board games on the porch. Definitely would come back!

We stayed one night in the Loft. The staff was very helpful in changing our room to eliminate the stairs for my handicapped wife. Over priced! Ice machine was down the stairs and across to another building with no ice bucket to carry the ice back to the room. Be aware there are a lot of steep steps from the parking lot up to the rooms in the Loft.

Wonderful property and tasteful updates. Air conditioning struggled to keep up with the 90+ temperatures. Parking is a bit of a challenge due to the steep stairs required to reach the lodge. Fire pit was a nice amenity. Our room #1 in the main building was a bit noisy due to the common area and rooms above. Nevertheless, we very much enjoyed our stay.
