The trolley has lots of history, being an actual train car in its previous life! It has been completely renovated from roof to rails just a few short years ago & is the perfect intimate place for your stay. We furnished it with minimal & modern furniture to make the space roomy and comfortable yet its stocked with everything you’ll need to enjoy all that our beautiful slice of Colorado has to offer. The trolley has a beautiful bathroom and a full kitchen with everything you’ll need to prepare your own food, for your convenience. The plush queen size bed offers the rest you deserve after your exciting Colorado adventures. We strive to provide a clean and comfortable space to make your own!
Enjoy staying in the comfortable trolley car! This clean home away from home will give you a peaceful night’s sleep in a cozy bed! In the full kitchen, you can cook your own meals or simply take a short stroll to nearby restaurants and shops! There’s so much within minutes of the trolley and with so much to explore you’ll be glad you’re close to your home away from home! And we even include some light breakfast items and snacks to get you going in the morning! Can’t wait to meet you!

Cute Trolley Car Close to Old Colorado City

The Trolley Car was well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable week. Great shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance.

I really liked the location. I could walk to shopping and it was extremely close drive to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and downtown. Very convenient!! The bed was comfortable and though compact the trolley was enjoyable. My one main complaint is there is no dresser for clothes storage. We had to keep everything in our suitcase instead. I did mention this to the owner. I am hoping she changes this. If that was done, I would definitely stay here again.

A very unique experience in this repurposed trolley! Very clean and cozy place in a quiet location. Just a few blocks from several local dining options and shops. Property owner had professional and timely communication. Very highly recommended!

Colorado Springs

So cute, tidy and cozy with a gorgeous view of the mountains. It was simple, sweet and close to everything that you would want to see or do, plus the neighborhood vibe is very homey and welcoming. You're walking distance to almost everything and less than 20 minutes from Garden of the Gods and Manitou. I'd stay again.

Trolley Ride

From the moment we walked into the trolley we loved it! It was the cutest ever! The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, hot water, and very clean. Everything you would want in the kitchen the entire trolley was so clean. I would love to stay there again! They copy pods were a bonus.

Cute place in a great location

The house is in the perfect location for walking to stores and restaurants in Old Colorado City. It's a short drive to downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and all the other attractions in the area. It's a cute, small house but has plenty of room to cook, eat, work, and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed. A nice touch was a small assortment of oatmeal packets and granola bars. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Great place for short stays!

We we very pleased will how clean the Trolley was. It had everything a couple needs for a 3 to 5 day stay. You’ll have to live out of your suitcase as there is very limited space to unpack. We were out and about a lot and only used it as a “home base”. It’s close to everything in Old Colorado City so you can walk to get food and drinks. The only issue was the place did get warm at night, so if you need to be cool to sleep you may struggle. We bought a cheap box fan and it helped a ton. Overall its close to hiking, food and drink and we enjoyed it.

Comfortable, Craziest Communication Ever

For such a small place it is very comfortable and quiet. The bed and all its bedding are fabulous, the shower is really great, and all the essentials are provided in the kitchen. My favorite part is that it's a walk away from really neat, eclectic shops and food, and old town shopping. One thing that is not mentioned is that you must use the little driveway on the east end of the property by the fence. If you attempt to use the one on the west end, the neighbor will come in and park their car & trailer, blocking you in. That seemed rude to me since it was really good access, but it is what it is. I have to say this is the craziest communication experience I've ever had with VRBO. I was sent an email at booking that I would receive the code 24 hours before my stay. I had to contact an agent to get the phone number for the owner to get the code just a few hours before my stay, because I didn't receive it. I had emailed and asked if I could have early check-in and was assured I could. I was 20 minutes out when I received a message that it would not be ready after all By that time I was there, and I begged to be let in so I could get my groceries in the refrigerator. The response was so slow that I panicked a little and tried to cancel the whole thing, Upon talking with the hostess, I was told that was not possible. A little put out, I did take the unit and I had a comfortable night. I also received the welcome details for the unit after checkout. Their timing was way off.

Wonderful Home, Perfect Location

What a great place to stay in Colorado Springs! My husband and I stayed here for a few nights on a vacation. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty, waking distance to Old Town shopping and restaurants and a short drive from Manitou, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. A good home base for adventuring. The house is clean, cool and well taken care of. I was able to cook our meals easily in the well appointed kitchen. After long days of exploring the bed is one of the comfiest I’ve slept in. Bryanna was an excellent host, quick to respond to any messages and clear in her communication. All together a 10/10 stay. Book this home if you need somewhere to stay in Colorado Springs!

Wonderful! The Trolley Car was a very unique and cozy property, and the property manager was so responsive! We had a last-minute request an hour before check in, and we had an answer in two minutes. The parking area behind the property is very spacious, and we appreciated the auto-locking door. We were within walking distance of many delicious restaurants, and a short drive from various attractions.Stay here, you won't regret it!

Outstanding, quiet location and immaculately clean

This is not a 5 for cleanliness, location, and comfort, it is a 10. We rent several VRBO and others every year. This was our 3rd this year, in the 4th now. This was the cleanest ever. A white cloth shower liner, immaculate, perfect caulking in shower. Everything immaculate. We have had "bachelor" clean, meaning cobwebs, sticky spaces, and bathtub caulk that looks like it was applied with a big toe. Though most are very clean, this was immaculate. Location was quiet and safe, easy parking, able to walk safely to quaint downtown, close to many attractions. Comfy bed, great shower, many extras in kitchen and bathroom. We recommend and would stay again.

Amazing Stay for Solo Traveler

It was a solo trip and I enjoyed my stay at the Trolley Car. It was clean, quiet and close to everything I needed. Even though I was by myself I felt safe. Everything about the Trolley Car made me feel pampered. It truly is a special place!
