House is perfectly situated to take in Columbus Indiana… really couldn’t be more perfect. Parking was very easy and the neighborhood quite quiet.The house was nicely laid out a relaxing place to stay. The house was overall quite clean with a couple minor issues that were pointed out to the owner.Would absolutely stay there again if we found ourselves in the area.

You cannot beat the walk-ability of this house to downtown Columbus! Our family loved walking to the library, kidscommons, Commons indoor playground, and Lucabe coffee shop. We loved the three bedrooms to spread out. Just a note that the one bathroom is shared by the two bedrooms and the master bedroom must walk all the way to the back of the house in order to use that other bathroom. Watch out for bug bites when outside of the house. This isn't an issue that the owner can fix though because the water pools on the curb in the road out front leading to lots of insects- just bring your bug spray! Communication was always great with the owner! They even came to our rescue when my son got us locked out of the house. The house was clean upon our arrival. We enjoyed our time and would definitely stay at this house again.

Relaxing refresh

Very cute home, just as described! Within walking distance to several great restaurants! Made the quick drive to Nashville IN for some fun shopping! Equally close to Brown County State Park. Would stay here again!

Lovely house, Lovely neighborhood

The property could not be located any more conveniently. We were visiting for the architecture, and the tours and information from the nearby Visitors' Center was fantastic. We walked downtown, into the IM Pei library next door, and drove all over Columbus without any trouble at all. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The only concern was the black mold outside the shower and the need to replace the caulk inside. We are both retired faculty from programs of interor design and architecture, and sensitive to issues like mold.

Comfortable Home in a Great Location

This attractive home is just a short walk from downtown restaurants and architectural sightseeing. The backyard and large front porch are great for sitting outdoors and watching people walk the neighborhood. The King mattress and the couch were both very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place in downtown Columbus!

Gathering place.

Keeping in mind it’s an older home. We owned a 1910 home in Portland OR so this place had a lot of similarities. Loved the spacious front room. One bedroom there was a significantly high bed. Air vents were a bit large- Be mindful of that! Wish the grates were smaller- I always felt I’d lose something down there. So be aware! The photos don’t do the place justice ~ I was pleasantly surprised by the size of home and comfort. Enjoyed being walking distance to many amenities. If you’re a cook there’s plenty to work with. It could use an upgrade on a few items. In all, we enjoyed it. I almost grabbed a high chair sitting on a curb there. That would make a nice addition! I visited with my son and daughter and my grandchildren who lives in Columbus. It was a very nice gathering place to see my family. I’d recommend this home!

All the reviews i read prior to our stay here was spot on. The front porch is great! It was very comfortable! The communication was great. I had some prblems getting in when i first arrived that was no fault of mine or the owners but they responded immediately and made sure i got in. There was some cosmetic damage in the bathroom and the floors was a little uneven in spots and did sqeak occasionally and I LOVED IT!! It is a old house. For it being as old as it is, they do an excellent job of keeping up on it! The occasional squeak in the floor reminded me of when i was younger in my grandmas house and it made me feel "at home". This house is great if you want to stay somewhere with a "home" feeling. Its not a good place if you are expecting room service, buttlers or maids! I would definitely stay here again and recomend it to anyone! Thank you for letting me and my family enjoy this home! Annie

Great Location

This is a super clean and comfortable place to stay near downtown - within walking distance of all kinds of cool stuff. The beds were by far the most comfortable I have ever slept on. There is a bathroom between two of the bedrooms that worked well for my family and then extended family had a nice big bedroom with a huge TV - they used the bathroom down the hall which also worked very well. The neighborhood was nice to walk through in the morning. Great breakfast place nearby. I'd stay here again.
