Historic yet modern
The hardwood floors, arched doorways and fireplace were historic yet the comfy beds, modern fans with remotes, and updated bathroom were appreciated. We found street parking very easily, even after a late night hockey game at Nationwide. Note that there is no driveway. It was unclear how to access the garage although a few remotes were found in the house for an alley and a garage but no additional information. The home was lacking some attention to detail with no kitchen towels, an empty paper towel roll, only 3 regular sized coffee cups, no hand soap in the kitchen, 1 bottle of dandruff shampoo and an used bar of soap in one bathroom. No shampoo in the other shower. And no towels in the bathrooms. We did find a linen closet with bathroom towels but never found anything for the kitchen. We also had to hunt down a bag for the kitchen garbage can. In full disclosure, I did not contact the host as we were only at the house for an hour of rest/outfit change before we left and then didn't return until 10:30pm at night which is when we noticed missing items.
