Far from downtown

Woman behind the counter won’t get up and help you with anything. It’s a ridiculous wait and you will not be attended to unless you ring the bell a million times. No microwaves in the room. No maid service every day. Only good thing is no bed bugs

Friends of Bill W will have a great stay. There is a door on the next block with a triangle and a circle. A church directly across the street. The building is older, but my room was freshly painted, with a new TV and friendly folks. If you expect new and perfect, avoid this little gem, clean,quiet and accommodating. I'm a smoker and the big guys don't allow that , I'm so glad I found this scarey looking at first, pleasantly suprizing place.

Roaches at Midnight

As soon as I sat down on the bed, I looked ahead and there was a roach crawling on the wall with what appeared to be an egg attached to it. The room did not smell clean. There was no phone and I needed a wake up call. The stairs were metal with perforated holes and felt unsafe. I tripped while walking up them. I saw another bug on the bed in the morning. There was no deadbolt on the door. It appears that there are several long term residents (one told me he lived there two years). The owner was nice but the hotel needs a lot of improvement.

Motel located in a very sketchy part of town. Lots of homeless people wandering around the block and in the parking lot. One of which continued to try to engage me in conversation while I was attempting to unload my luggage outside my room with my two small kids. We felt very unsafe. The room smelled terrible. A mixture of body odor, cigarette smoke and mold. The smells absolutely permeated the mattresses and pillows, so there was no escaping. Every surface of the room felt dirty and unsanitary. If it weren't 10 pm when we arrived, I would have left immediately; however, we had to stay one night (out of our booked 2) because we are from out of town and had no idea if I could find a suitable replacement in the city I am unfamiliar with that late at night. When I checked out a day early, I told the clerk the smell was overwhelming and we felt completely unsafe. All he could offer was to move us to a different room. We declined and moved to a much better hotel several miles away. They would not refund our money for the night we did not stay. So disappointed. I don't even know why this is offered on the cheaptickets web site. Do not stay here you will regret it.
