Great for long term stays! Fully renovated 1 Bedroom with King bed and sleeper sofa in living area. One block from High Street in the Short North and 10 min walk to OSU campus! Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, brew pubs and galleries. Upscale Kroger store with a Starbucks is steps away. Free circulator and regular bus stops nearby. Unit includes a full kitchen, W/D, Wifi and 2 smart TVs for streaming services. The entire unit is yours for your enjoyment!

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

Congress hide away

Stayed at this wonderful apartment for 8 nights during Congress because it’s 1.5 miles away. Brought my dog who loved the extra room and grassy areas. At first I was a little worried about the neighborhood but after a day I was totally at ease and loved that the Kroger is directly across the street! Previous guest left the tv I’m French but the owner promptly fixed that. Will dry stay here next year

Perfect location to walk to stadium

Just a quick weekend trip to see the football game at OSU. The apartment was perfect, very clean and comfortable. Parking was right outside. Walkable to campus and Short North. Grocery store across the street. What more could you ask for. We would definitely stay here again next year. Thank so much.

Great short term stay

The property was clean, comfortable and easily accessible, essentially as advertised. In addition to the bed, I fell asleep on the couch after finishing up a bit of work, and it's perfectly suitable as a bed. The property manager was great and available throughout my stay. He helped with everything from making sure I had onsite parking (both behind the building and on the street), to offering suggestions on where to go. If you're in town for a football game or graduation, It's a bit of a walk to the stadium (but not that bad); however, you can also uber most of the way for next to nothing even with roadblocks up. I had three hours of sleep the night before so I ubered and got to within a block of the shoe. Being across the street from the grocery store is a nice plus, as I was able to grab drinks and food without having to drive to a store. And, if you're interested in the OSU nightlife, you're only a few blocks from most of the action. When I lived in Columbus, this wasn't the safest part of the city, but if you have those memories as well, the neighborhood has certainly changed for the better.

Douglas could not have been a better host! Communication was just awesome! Very Very helpful with what was in the area, where to go, etc...We had a wonderful, relaxing, comfortable stay. We were in town from Indiana for a concert in the Ohio Stadium. I wanted to be close enough to walk to the event without the hassle of driving & finding parking in a city I was not at all familiar with. This place was perfect. We walked & I would highly recommend, for any visit to Ohio State! Again, One of the best parts of this stay was the attention to our stay from Douglas. Thank you!
