「We really enjoyed our stay. Pedro was such a charming host and carried our very heavy bag up to the apartment. The location is perfect, the beds were comfortable, the temperature was nice and cool during some very hot days in Madrid, and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy family time. We did not mind the four flights of stairs, but we walk and hike regularly. It was also easy to catch a taxi out front. We really enjoyed looking down at all the action from the balcony. 「Excellent stay, owner was very responsive & helpful. We didn’t cook so I can’t comment on those facilities but at a glance they looked excellent. The outdoor bath was very much enjoyed by my son & daughter in law. An excellent touch! Also the other rooftop terrace was lovely. One thing to note is there is only aircon in one of the bedrooms and the living room. Apart from that an excellent stay and the location is absolutely perfect for getting to all the sights. 」

「Great location in Madrid, a few steps from a subway station. Beautifully decorated apartment, with lovely artwork pieces including images of swirling Dervishes, tapestries, vases… A selection of great books from James Baldwin to Amin Maalouf, art books on Madrid architecture, Goya’s paintings… very comfortable bedroom, and so on. If you add the nicest host ever, what else can you ask for? A pure delight! Thanks for everything! 🙂」

「The flat was well-appointed, attractively arranged and clean and filled with the original paintings of the owner.」

「The apartment was clean and and very well furnished. If you are looking for a place that is not in the city center, this appartment is just perfect. Well located, next to a few metro station, just steps from all essential amenities and restaurants. Also very quiet at night even if it's close to a busy street.」

「Seven of our family members stayed 8 nights. The location was perfect for a quick walk to grocery store, bakery (every day!) and a variety of restaurants. We walked to the Royal Palace, Cathedral, Grand Via, Plaza Mayor and the World’s Oldest Restaurant Sobrino de Botin (Guinness World Records). A 20 minute Uber ride took us to the train for a 40 minute ride to a day in Toledo. We all were very happy to return to “our apartment” to rest for dinner and evening strolls. "Hotel Regina in Madrid is in central downtown area. Very convenient for travellers and sightseeing. Lots of restaurants nearby and only 10-15 minutes walk from main shopping streets. It’s also near the Sol square with about 5 mins walk. I would no doubt stay again in this hotel if I visit the capital again."
