“I enjoyed my time at the Cozy Cabin, it is well appointed glamping for sure. Sara was very helpful and very responsive to questions. Although this time i was on my own for much needed down time, would definitely consider coming back with more people to stay and stay in some of the other options available on the property.”

“What an absolutely beautiful place. My wife and I spent an extended weekend for our anniversary to get away and relax. My wife loves to cook, and this kitchen was so well thought out, it had everything she needed. The only thing to note was that if you are a light sleeper and sleep in the bedroom on the main floor, the heat pump may wake you up when it kicks on. We wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back maybe in the fall or again next winter.”

This is the perfect getaway for an adventurous couple or family all year round. The wood stove has plenty of wood and heats up the whole cabin very quickly. We have already booked our next weekend getaway at this gorgeous cabin!”

“This cottage was the perfect getaway for the two of us and our adult son. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the (private) lake and being off-grid. For the most part, we were the only ones on the lake which was amazing. Fishing was awesome and provided a couple of meals. Like another review, we were warmly welcomed by Todd, with fresh baked bread and eggs, a wonderful surprise. Todd was more than accommodating, responding immediately to any questions we had. The……

“Spectacular & peaceful location. Very well maintained, clean space. The property is very well equipped, especially the kitchen appliances. We were around 12 people & we all had an great time there. We booked this property in July so make sure you are taking mosquito repellent spray with you if you are spending time outside especially in the evening near the water. The host (Wali) was most kind & extremely responsive to call/msgs. We will definitely be recommending it to other people.”

“My family really enjoyed our stay at Foxfire Heritage Farm. What a unique way to camp in the comfort of a 2 pod yurt. They had everything that we needed minus a shower. There was lots of firewood for our cold nights but it was only softwood...which had me up every couple hours to restoke. The beds were very comfortable and the power pack was such a convenience to keep our phones charged. We really loved being able to explore the property and visit with all the animals. What an awesome……

“This is a well equipped and comfortable home. Loved the kayaks and canoe and the opportunity for a fun paddle down the river and there were lots to games and activities for all ages. Older people and small children might be daunted by the steep hill down to the water. We were surprised that the downstairs bedrooms, despite being roomy, didn't have windows.”

“We were in town to work on a property that we purchased and this house quickly became our home away from home. The house has a modern cottage vibe, the bedrooms are cozy, the beds comfortable and the main living area is large and open. There were plenty of amenities and all appliances and the BBQ worked with no issues. There is also lots of parking, which was especially handy for us with a truck and trailer, a huge backyard on a quiet street. We also enjoyed some excellent meals at a few……

“This cottage is a gem! The cottage is well laid out (inside and out) and offered everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond when needed. The water is lovely and the kids had a great time. You may hear the train a time or two during your stay, but otherwise a very quiet area. Hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.”
