Lake Como Apartment
Our experience was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Checking was tedious; they sent me multiple links to sign documents and requested a deposit, which was not mentioned during the booking process. As for the apartment, it was terribly hot when we arrived, and only 1 of the 3 fans was working fully. About an hour after check-in, the host unexpectedly appeared with two men. They said they were going to install a fire extinguisher and got into the apartment. They were there for about half an hour, which is not okay. If you have guests, you cannot come and go whenever you want.
We asked the host about the high temperature in the apartment, and he said that everything related to the apartment had to be done through the apartment administration. We contacted the administrator, and they stated that it was the host's responsibility, and neither of them took any action to help. The administrative person was rude and dismissive, as if they only cared about the money and had forgotten how to treat a guest.
It was a nightmare sleeping on hot summer with just one working fan for the whole place. This place shouldn't be available for the summer if they can't provide AC or good working fans throughout the place. The toiletries were minimal, and the shower was so small that I could barely move, even though I'm short. The only positive aspect of the place was its location near the lake.
