Lovely apartment in a central location in Como

Stayed for five days with my wife, our two adult sons, and teenage daughter. The apartment was beautiful with lovely views to the east of the basilica and mountains from the private balcony.

Location was good, no real views. I booked this particular property for the washer dryer and 2 showers. The dryer did not work (no heat) and management made no apparent effort to get it repaired. I also booked for the "2 showers". The listing, when I revisited it, said outdoor shower and 1 shower. There was of course, no "outdoor shower" and just one small indoor shower. There was a bathtub that had a handheld wand, but that in my opinion does not qualify as a true "shower". Check in was quite cumbersome, having to go to a luggage storage location about half a mile away which, with bags over rough streets and sidewalks, was not an easy walk to/from the train station. And this picture is definitely not the unit we stayed in.
