My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our stay! Check-in was flawless and we so appreciated the owner meeting us there and giving us recommendations and helpful maps for our stay. The Villa was very clean, cozy and the view is unbelievable! The location is perfectly tucked between the very busy Positano & Amalfi, and we loved coming home to the more quiet village with friendly locals and being able to walk to dinner or the market to cook at home. We will 100% be back in the near future!

Incredible Host and Location

Gioacchino was the most amazing host. We drove into the location which has its challenges but he came on his scooter and ushered us into the apartment! He helped us with our luggage and proceeded to teach us everything a visitor should know about the apartment and region! Tips and tricks were exceptional! He was available for any questions and was invaluable to us the entire visit! The location was perfect and beautiful. High quality! We would definitely go back!

Wunderschöne Terrasse mit atemberaubenden Meerblick. Gastgeber sehr informativ und hilfsbereit

Ansprechende Wohnung mit hochwertiger Ausstattung. Sehr vorteilhaft ist der Parkplatz oberhalb des Hauses (da weniger Stufen und wir über 70) Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!!

A great stay close to Amalfi but much quieter

We loved our stay at Le Anfore. It is a beautiful apartment with a wonderful view and free parking. If you drive into Amalfi area this is close to all the big tourist spots but with free parking and peace and quiet. There are about 30 steps down from the parking lot. Gioacchino is a great host that provided good maps and info to help us choose activitites.

Speziell und sensationell

Schweißtreibender Aufwand für den Zugang zur Wohnung (96 Treppenstufen) , aber die Lage und der Ausblick entschädigen für alles. Gioacchino ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufgeschlossener Vermieter, der gutes Englisch spricht. Er hilft und unterstützt, wo er kann - gibt Empfehlungen, schon fast zu viel... :-) Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert!

Breathtaking view!

Clean and comfy. Looks exactly like photots. Owner lives below and is incredibly helpful and easy to contact. The terrace is huge and that view!

Super Appartment mit tollem Ausblick

Wir hatten das Appartment für 3 Nächte für Ende September gebucht. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr zuvorkommender und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber und hat uns schon im Vorfeld mit vielen Details zur Anreise und jeder Menge Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurantempfehlungen versorgt. Das Appartment ist sehr funktional und recht geräumig und besticht durch seine Riesen-Terrasse mit dem Top-Ausblick über einen weiteren Bereich der Amalfiküste. Durch die Lage relativ weit oben am Berg ist ein Auto erforderlich und man darf keine Knieprobleme haben, denn der Eingang ist nur über etliche Stufen zu erreichen. Fußläufig gibt es 2 Lokale, eine einfache Pizzaria und ein gehobeneres Restaurant "Bunta di Capo" mit ausgezeichneter Küche. Direkt nebenan befindet sich ein Alimentari mit den nötigsten Sachen für den täglichen Bedarf.

Amazing!

The view of this place could not be any better. Just stunning. Nice quiet little town very close to Amalfi. A little farther to positano and ravello and sorrento. All doable drives. Fabulous restaurant you can walk to Nino’s. As well as another option very close by. Very very clean. Gioachinno is extremely helpful and a perfect host. Hope to return. AC also works extremely well. Perfect stay.

From the moment of reserving our stay to monitoring our arrival, Gioacchino Carbone was communicating and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend Vespa scooter for your transportation around Amalfi area. It provides so much flexibility without the challenges of parking and very narrow roads

A Perfect Stay Along the Amalfi Coast

My partner and I recently spent about three weeks in Italy, and the week we spent here in Conca dei Marini was absolutely our favorite. The location was perfect. It is right in the middle of the coast and has easy access to the larger, busier towns in the area. Conca dei Marini is more peaceful than Amalfi and Positano, but it has plenty to do if you want to stay in town. Gioacchino is an incredible host, and his property is amazing. We spent every single sunrise and sunset on the gorgeous patio, and really appreciated his tips, recommendations, and help getting around the coast. Our only regret is that we had to leave his little slice of paradise after a week - but we hope to be back one day! We could not recommend this place more! It will forever hold a little piece of our hearts.

A "home away from home"

This newly renovated property is beautifully appointed with Italian tile, a comfortable king bed and tucked away towards the end of Conca Dei Marini, where it's quiet and serene, but close enough to the village, where there are several wonderful restaurants and a grocery store. The apartment is spotless and very comfortable, especially for a couple, however, there is a foldout couch and a twin foldout in the room where the kitchen sink and stovetop is tucked away in a cabinet, with plenty of space to accommodate other guests. The owner also shared that there is another accommodation next door where the adjoining space can be opened for several families to share. Gino, the owner, is there to welcome his guests, providing maps and detailed explanations for bus stops, ferry options to Positano, restaurant recommendations, etc. We did not rent a car so enjoyed walking instead. Honestly, we were happy to have not driven on the narrow streets. Plus, parking was at a premium. Gino arranged to have a private driver pickup us up and return us to the Napoli train station. It took us two days to get the stops and timetables and ticket purchases in Amalfi figured out, but Gino's descriptions and assistance while staying in his beautiful apartment were limitless. In other words, he was a text or a phone call away for all of our questions, needs and even laundry assistance (if you are willing to pay an additional cost), which we did before leaving for Rome. Yes, there are steps up to this apt., many of which I took slowly going down and definitely slow going up. If you eat at several of the local restaurants, the owner will either drive you home or offer assistance from someone else. Hence, just a few steps to your front door. The apt. has a beautiful kitchen setup where I cooked breakfast in the morning so we could enjoy the patio and view. Our last day, we clearly needed a rest before pushing on. The weather was gorgeous to relax on the patio and enjoy the sunshine. It was a great stay in Conca Dei Marini and we made a wonderful friend. Gino will be in our hearts and blessings until we return again.

Amazing Town!

Gioacchino, our host, was such an amazing person, kind, and full of love and knowledge of his home town. We cannot thank him enough for your hospitality and the great amount of information that he provided when we arrived. His property is so clean and nicely done, you'll love the views and the close distances to everything within town. Conca dei Marini and its residents are so very kind and happy, it was contagious.

Gioacchino's place was the perfect location to see all of the Amalfi Coast!!

This place was the perfect beautiful location to see all of Amalfi. Gioacchino was a wonderful host in explaining all of the sights to see and how to get to them since we didn't have a car. He helped us out with any questions we had. The only problem we had was that we were only there for a couple of nights and didn't stay there long enough. I guess we will have to go back and stay longer next time...hopefully at Gioacchino's place again. Thank you for everything!!! Rose (Carbone)

Amazing Holiday on the Amalfi Coast

Giocchino was an amazing host! He was incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of his way to help us during our stay. We loved getting to know him and experiencing the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The property is beautiful. My husband and I and our two boys loved our stay. The property has a lot of stairs but everywhere on the Amalfi Coast has stairs, it’s part of the beauty of it. Thank you so much Giocchino for the most amazing start to our holiday in Italy. We would love to come back some day!

Our recent visit was remarkable. The host was so humble and helpful. We stayed on 4 other locations and this host was by far the best. He assisted with renting a car while there and transport to airport for departure as well as advise for tourist spots including maps. He spent at least 20 minutes reviewing the home and locations to tour. The residence was immaculately clean and looked like it was just remodeled. The pull out bed does not accommodate large adults so if you are 4 adults the ottoman converted to a bed which was more comfortable. I felt like I was in heaven standing on the patio watching the boats travel back and forth. Also this location is very close to Fiordo di Furore which is all over the internet as a beautiful beach location. If I could afford it I would live in this village.

Great Stay- Beautiful View- Recommend having car

The property was beautiful especially the terrace portion of the unit. The owner was a gracious host and checked us in and offered many recommendations of places to stay and things to do. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet stay. It is a little bit in between Amafi and Postiano. Nice to be a little bit further away from the tourists.

Wonderful spot with an amazing view.

We had an amazing stay in Conca dei Marini. Gioacchino met us on the road and directed us to the parking area. Then he sat with us and went over a plethora of information. He had maps of the area and pamphlets for different tourist areas. He was so friendly and we greatly appreciated the time he spent with us. He was great and we couldn’t ask for a better host. There are two restaurants within walking distance. We went to Nino’s once and had delicious pizza. We went to Le Bonta de Capo three times. All our meals there were fantastic and we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine without worrying about driving home. We really enjoyed sitting in the patio. The views are spectacular. The home is centrally located between Amalfi and Positano so we never had to drive too far. Make sure you have a smaller car as it’s very tight driving on the roads. I was nervous at first but after a couple of days I was whizzing around the streets. Maybe not like a native but not too bad. If I ever return to the Amalfi Coast I will definitely stay here again. The location is great and Gioacchino was awesome. Thank you Gioacchino for helping our vacation be beautiful.

Amalfi Coast Italy

We had many places to choose from and we were very fortunate/lucky to chose this property to stay, we only stayed 1 night but we will definitely stay here again for longer next time, the owner was exceptionally knowledgeable, informative of the area and took the time to explain options for local food choices, the pride he has takes in his property and community showed from the minute we booked his stunning property! Grandiose ! Stupendo ! Wonderful !

Nous avons été reçus merveilleusement bien par Gioacchino dans son bel appartement, très propre, très bien tenu et très confortable. La terrasse est extraordinaire, la vue est à couper le souffle. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel et Gioacchino y a contribué par le biais de ces conseils avisés et de son hospitalité. Nous n'avons qu'un seul regret : être partis trop tôt..... car les beautés du lieu sont à l'infini. Nous recommandons "Le Anfore", c'est un endroit magique. Grazie mille. Angelina
