“Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed. Apartment is one floor up, stairs only, good to……

“Zeer ruim en proper appartement, op een prachtig resort. Onmiddellijk vakantiegevoel. Wel risico op lawaai-overlast door luidruchtige buren tot 's avonds laat. Voor ons zijn goede bedden ook belangrijk, wat hier wel dik tegenviel (erg harde matrassen). Al bij al een zeer leuk verblijf gehad: leuk zwembad, lekker restaurant en ontbijt, zeer vriendelijk personeel, prachtige ligging, ... Toch blijft dit resort wel erg prijzig voor een toch verouderd appartement.”

“We enjoyed our stay. You should be aware that you will need to carry your luggage up 3 flights that are quite challenging at times. Very close to train station… you can walk to it. Also quite close to shopping and restaurants of old town and Marina.”

“Gute Wohnung im Herzen von Faro. Parken Zufahrt problematisch,da oft Autos blockieren. Wohnung etwas abgewohnt, kleine Schäden - aber ok. Sehr zentrale Lage viele Restaurants in der Nähe.”

“Considering it was listed as a four star resort, it wasn’t up to par with the four star review the place has not been renovated over decades, landscaping, and overall was poor. Staff was not accommodating room didn’t even have a phone if you needed to call reception area. overall would not recommend it and spoke with other people and they said the same.”

“Good little apartment for exploring the Algarve and local area. Within walking distance of some local restaurants. The apartment was practical, the decor a little dated, although the kitchen and bathroom were nice. We had a few bugs get in, but being on the ground floor probably makes it more susceptible. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked ourselves 2 evening meals, and kept a stock of breakfast food. The pool area was ideal, not huge but the right size for the number of guests there.……

“A very secure, well appointed apartment with easy access to the pool (over the road) and marina. Diogo is an excellent host and communicates well. Fully functional air conditioning in all rooms which is a massive plus. Newly installed boiler had a water leak caught in a jug which we had to empty (Diogo aware and awaiting an engineer). Building work being carried out in upstairs flat during the first few days which created some noise in the mornings. They were the only negative points (and won't……
