“We have been renting vacation homes for over 15 years, and hands down, this was the most incredible house we have ever stayed in. The views are breathtaking; we never got tired of just standing outside, looking at the water/cliffs. The house is stocked with every imaginable thing you could possibly want -- from beach towels, a cooler, spices galore, etc. Beds super comfortable and loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. Felt like a real home, not a rental. Beverly was beyond fantastic as……

“This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days .....”

“Check-in was simple and Madison was kind enough to allow early-access to the property. There was ample seating and activity space for the full family, and the warf is directly across the street to provide easy access to the waterfront and Saturday morning farmers market. Sunsets from the front patio and yard are spectacular! With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. “This is an amazing property! It’s very clean and everything we needed was there. The lake was so peaceful, and beautiful. The cottage is located in the woods which made it so private. The family loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing all week. We really didn’t need to do anything more than stay at the cottage. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing with family, considering that half of us live in Ontario and the other half are in Nova Scotia. Thank you again to Andrea for hosting us!!! ”
