The house was very clean, and beautifully decorated, overall wonderful. The host was great. The scent of the basement was present in the house, perhaps someone with allergies might be sensitive to it, perhaps a dehumidifier would help.

Positively peaceful

The Conestoga cottage is among such a unique cluster of houses yet so quiet and secluded. We’re anxious to spend more time here exploring the hiking opportunities & bringing our kayaks next time! A little off the beaten path but it doesn’t take long to access major roadways getting to/from places.

Beautiful place and location

Very nice stay in this beautiful home and neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet with all everything we needed for our stay without being in the busy, downtown area.

Peter is an excellent host. Just like the last property of Peter's we stayed this one also did not disappoint. Comfy beds water coffee hut tub and fast internet made for a great 3 day getaway. Canny wait to stay again!!!

Quiet Stay in Conestoga

My family enjoyed a quiet stay. We were in town for a wedding. The home met our needs very well. It had plenty of space to relax and crash. The host was very good and quite responsive to questions. We highly recommend the property.

So beautiful

Everything was amazing!!! There were a few questions I had, but the host was great to work with and communicated quickly. The area is awesome, but the house???? I want to keep everything about the house. It was the perfect atmosphere for our lowkey girls trip. And, I legitimately took pictures of some of the decor as inspiration for my own home.

What a perfect late holiday stay!

I needed a place for my four adult children, partners and my wife to stay for a late holiday celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. It was quiet, clean and still fairly close to grocery stores and other needs. We had a great time and would definately recommend the stay for others. The hot tub was a perfect bonus, and the house is styled so cozy. Thank you!

Lovely Stay

We visited Lancaster with my family and parents and instead of getting a hotel, we opted for this stay. Best decision! We were able to cook our meals together and sit by the fire at night! House was thoroughly thought out and had every amenity we could need. Pictures alone could never do this community and home justice - absolutely beautiful.

Charming Cottage

The Conestoga Cottage is a charming house that is beautifully styled to reflect the surrounding region. It is clean, comfortable, spacious, and well supplied. The neighborhood is quiet and attractive. It is located a short scenic drive from attractions, restaurants, and conveniences. The host communicates well and promptly. Thanks for the snacks as my family appreciated them. We really enjoyed our stay at Conestoga Cottage!

Weekend trip

The house was beautiful, clean as can be. There were 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids. Everything was great,comfortable furniture and beds. The hot tub was a hit with the kids. The AC worked perfectly. We arrived around 7 pm and the upstairs AC wasn’t on. I turned it on at 7:15 and it was cooled down by bedtime. I would definitely rent there again if the kids have another track meet at Millersville University next year. I highly recommend this house.

Great house and location

Peter's home in Safe Harbor village was perfect for us and our dogs. Easy access to everything, beautiful setting and community, with a lot of original woodwork still in place. Coming back to a generously well stocked kitchen, sitting by the fireplace and watching a movie on a comfortable couch was the perfect way to end a busy day. We would recommend this home to all.
