Kitchener Conestogo River Horseback Adventures Hotels

"The room was comfortable but it was not cleaned after our first night’s stay. When asked, I was told first that since we had the ‘do not disturb’ sign, they didn’t enter our room however, we removed the sign when we went out at 10. Then I was told that the hotel has a policy of not cleaning the rooms daily. When I asked to see where it states that, I was told that it is not in writing but it’s their hotel policy. I found it very strange and asked to speak to the manager and then the receptionist offered to clean it herself. If that is a hotel policy, I think it is very unhygienic. I also feel that it will be helpful to staff their front desk with more staff because there is always a delay with a lineup at the front."

"Amazing experience! The room was super clean and the two king beds were a game-changer for our family trip. The staff members are hardworking, friendly, and well-presented. I felt so relaxed and comfortable during my stay. 10/10 would recommend!"

"One of the best hotel stays I have had. Check in was friendly, easy and welcoming. The concierge even gave my daughter an easter toy and treats. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we were welcomed and comfortable. Very refreshing and appreciated. "

"My biggest issue with staying at the hotel was the level of noise. I came here to rest after a long day. 10 minutes after I enter my room I heard constant screams from the hallway. I opened my door and saw a bunch of kids screaming their head off and running through the corridor. I called the front desk and asked to send someone to take care of the situation. It DID NOT HELP! The running and screaming persisted. I called again and the answer I got was "I talked to them. They are running races...". I didn't realize that I rented a room on a race track. My second issue, I booked the room well in advance and asked for the highest floor of the hotel. Then called again a couple of days before and made sure that the hotel has my request. When I registered, I got the 3rd floor rather than the 4th. I was told that "this is all we have". I said I requested it well in advance, but that was not honored. That, combined with the running and screaming made me very upset."

"There was a surprise problem with the check in, but Sara the host was immediately responsive; she explained and solved the problem right away. The suite was comfortable and the location and price were great for me. I really appreciated that the suite was nice and warm when I arrived on a bit of a cold night. The one suggestion I would make would be greater attention to cleanliness, particularly the shower and the floors. It was so quiet and comfy, though; I really appreciated being able to stay there."

"Our room was really clean and spacious. The staff at the front desk were really friendly upon check in and check out. There was a local hockey tournaments in the area and the hotel was quite full and noisy. The staff that checked us in kindly switched us to a floor different from the hockey families. "

"Very friendly host. Some difficulty getting in as we didn’t realize the unit was through the gate and tried getting into the front unit that someone was occupying.The kitchen is very well equipped -pots, dishes, utensils, spices and more!"
