"We spent a week at this lovely holiday home. It's comprised of 2 2-bedroomed cottages attached to each other but with separate kitchen and bathroom facilities. This worked brilliantly for our family of 3 teenagers and 2 adults., plus our dog. There's a beautiful courtyard as well as stunning garden with bbq, large decking area and plunge pool. "We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way further south in France.The location is so quiet and pretty and the fenced garden meant we could relax and not worry about the dog or the kids wandering too far. The pool is ideal for small kids with a clever ladder which means when you don’t want them to get in you can remove the ladder. "Everything you need for a wind-down in the country. All you could need is provided in the clean and comfortable gite. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. "Hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Das Haus ist wunderschön und komplett ausgestattet. Auch ein schöner Swimmingpool mit großem Garten. In der wunderschönen Umgebung gibt es viel zu unternehmen. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für jeden sehr zu empfehlen!"

"Very nice property, lots of space. Great to have 2 swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor, including hot shower outside: heaven ! Property owner is very nice and helpful. Near to small towns and fun activities to do in the area such as horseback riding, canoe and game parc (bowling, laser game, mini golf, etc). Would definitely come back to in future."

"We had a lovely stay here. Hosts very welcoming and helpful with information about the area. Lovely big room and ensuite overlooking the river. Comfortable bed and the room had a fan! The only stay of 4 that did provide a fan in the room which was a godsend in the heat that weekend. Really nice breakfast, fresh fruit salad, the greek yogurts were delicious, croissants, bread, cereals, jams, honey, my husband particularly liked the butter, ham, cheese, all very enjoyable. We hadn't intended to stay out late but the music festival was on, which was brilliant, but dark on walk home as no street lighting. Just make sure you have phone battery for torch to walk back late. This is not a negative, just a tip, because the place is lovely to stay over where it is situated on the river. "

"This was one of our best stays ever. We were met at the property, given all the details about the cottages and throughout, our hosts stayed in touch and were extremely helpful in providing information about eating out and activities in the area. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, well appointed and lacked for nothing. In short, we had a wonderful time and will certainly consider booking again without hesitation."

"Its a lovely family run hotel, the owner has excellant customer service skills and all of the staff make the effort to make you feel like a valued customer. Yes aspects of the rooms could do with a refresh butit is easy to overlook that. The food was very good and good value for money. It was my wife's birthday whilst we were there and when the owner realised they arranged for her dessert to be brought out with an candle in it and Happy Birthday written in chocolate!"
