"The cottage was so cute from the outside but too modest for my husband and I on the inside. We ended up leaving after one night. We had planned on cooking at the house but I underestimated how small the kitchen was from the picture. There were also no paper towels to clean anything. The owner has a ring camera by the door and must have overheard us complaining so his cleaning lady came by the next day to check on us which was a nice gesture but a heads up would have been appreciated. "This hotel is a gem and one of the highlights of our trip! The location is simply gorgeous, and the drive along the Sky Road to get there was particularly memorable, with incredible ocean views. The castle is beautiful and full of history. The owner does a fantastic job of sharing some of it every evening during a free get-together with drinks. The staff shows great attention to detail, high-quality standards, and an incredible culture of fun and care that we have not seen anywhere else. Brian, the owner, also made the evening stand out with an incredible dinner atmosphere followed by delightful conversations on the patio at sunset with a group of customers. It is such a unique, elegant, fun, and welcoming hotel. We will be back!"

"This is one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful property, big enough that it doesn’t feel awkward to run into people, small enough that it feels personal, very kind and attentive staff, high-quality breakfast with many choices (tiny complaint: coffee is a bit weak and it would be nice to have espresso options—I ended up getting a second coffee in town each day after breakfast), comfortable bed, nice shower, amazing solarium and “extra” spaces outside room, quiet, nice mix of guests. Some families with kids but generally a pretty quiet and slightly older clientele. Sooo clean and well-maintained!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and will suggest it to anyone I know coming to Ireland. Thank you for making our stay so special."

"Wir hatten wundervolle Tage in diesem sehr gemütlichen Cottage mit herrlichem Garten. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist einem Cottage entsprechend. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden, die wir allerdings nicht benötigten. Alles was man benötigt ist ausreichend vorhanden und das Cottage ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der sehr große und sehr schön angelegte Garten lädt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Von dem Sitzplatz vor dem Cottage hat man einen herrlichen Blick in die umgebende Landschaft. Für Naturliebhaber eine wunderbare Unterkunft und zentraler Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Sehenswürdigkeiten der Conamara. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Die Abrechnung der Stromkosten nach Verbrauch halten wir für sehr fair. Rosie ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, die um das Wohl ihrer Gäste stets besorgt ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen."
