“Wonderful boutique hotel, super close to the airport- not to worry there are baggage carts right outside the hotel for us over packers. Super comfortable beds and wonderful staff, Davide is great. Bus from the airport takes you right into the city if you have time for seeing beautiful Catania. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We are frequent travelers and this is one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. The description borders on false advertising. The room looked nothing like the picture. It was sparse, smelled heavily of cleaner and had chipped walls. The amenities were a bar of soap so small as not to be useful and the smallest shampoo bottles we have ever seen. The yard was not maintained. There is no hotel airport shuttle. The hotel is .9 m from the airport but because of roads is a 15 minute 20-30 euro……

“Absolutely loved the place. Everyone was over the top helpful & kind, ensuring that we had a great experience. The only thing that threw us was a $100. Fee per person that was explained to us as facility fees for the pool & beach. We were fine with the fee but later we were told that the pool was for children only. We were not happy about that as there were days when we would have preferred hanging at the pool rather than the beach. We dealt with the situation but it was a pretty expensive fee……

“It seems close to the airport... but you have to take taxi there! The breakfast was too simple, maybe because of christmas day. No shops or restaurants or people around.. The facility in the room is old and no light on the road.”

“They have problem about the communication with the booking website and also between their employees. In my second day, I wanted to check out then move to another hotel to stay with my friends. but they told me i have already paid in the website, it is not possible to refund the money to me. So i chose to stay within my 3days reservation. In the last day, when i checked out, the other employee charged me again!! He insisted that i have not paid yet!! I spent half hour to explain and prove I have……

“It’s good for a pit stop off the plane. Within walking distance of the airport (in daylight anyways), the exterior is rather humble - reminding me of places I enjoyed during my backpacking days. But inside the essentials are all there.”

“The room was clean, but nothing special. The street was very narrow with no place to walk and not convenient to get anyway, thus limiting food choices as well. The host did not provide any information for where to get public transportation or food. We arrived at the hotel at check-in time by taxi, and were stuck the rest of the day and night, with nothing more than a deli and pizzeria on a busy, narrow street with no sidewalk. My sister complained to the host via text messages. The host did try……

“The host was extremely helpful and very communicative. She is a 5 star host and had some nice snacks and beverages available for us when we arrived. However, the room itself had mold on the shower door and some type of allergen in the bed sheets as my wife got sick after the one night stay. I would stay there again but the place could use better cleaning.”
