We had an amazing stay. The town is gorgeous, and a great base to explore the region. The accommodation was better than expected. Not only did we stay in a beautiful venue, but the staff and service was beyond expectations. I’d happily recommend this accommodation to anyone. I hope to be able to return!

This hotel was gorgeous and charming. However, be aware that if you are taking an uber to the area, this hotel is in the old part of the town and the Uber will not be able to drop you off directly at the hotel (you will have to do a maybe 5 minute walk from the main streets). The roads around the hotel are also cobblestone so keep that in mind when packing to stay at this hotel. All in all a gorgeous area and experience if you know what to expect. Amazing people and great food located close in the area.

Our stay was somewhat disappointing. The reception staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, which did not make for a good first impression. Breakfast was adequate, and the breakfast staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. Our biggest concern was returning one afternoon to find that the cleaning staff had left our room door open. This was a serious security concern and completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, when we reported the incident, we received little more than a simple apology, with no apparent concern about the seriousness of the situation. Overall, the hotel could benefit from improving its customer service and taking guest security more seriously.

The hotel is charming. Rooms are large, comfortable, well-maintained and clean. The staff was great. We would have liked clearer advance instructions about how to arrive with a car and unload luggage. The hotel is in a very car-restricted zone. GPS tells you "You've arrived" when you are outside the restricted area. To drive close, you have to navigate through pedestrians and sidewalk cafés. Also, while the breakfast buffet was lovely, the restaurant was closed during our 3-day stay.
