"Stayed at The Moose Lantern the first weekend in June with 5 others. The cabin was just as advertised and more! Had everything we needed. WiFi worked well. We also rented a pontoon from Timbuktu Marina, kept it at the dock and no problem finding it. Will stay here again for sure!"

"Fishing and hiking was goal. First day beautiful early fall day about 73 and partly sunny. Caught a few bass and enjoyed the beautify lake that had little development and hope it stays that way! Cabin was perfect for location with so many other lakes to explore if bringing own boat, kayak or canoe. Hiking trails and Chippewa National Forest is awesome!"

"We had a great time getting our family together at this property. The cabin and bunkhouse are in great shape, the deck is absolutely fantastic and is where we spent most of our time. It was really nice being able to have some separate areas for each family to spread out but also nice common areas as well. The docks are in great shape and we loved the bonfire pit. It really is a beautiful property. Everything was absolutely perfect, we would definitely come back!"

"Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!"

Starting after booking, the hosts / owners were happy to answer any questions and help us prepare for the trip even before we arrived. "The cabin was clean with a clear view and access of the lake, the property owners were great, our puppy had a great time learning to swim. The living room was extremely narrow and hard to maneuver around with 2 people and a puppy, but there were big windows to take in the view. Beds were comfortable, kitchen equipped with all the essentials including heat and cooling, it was quiet at night. I would recommend this to anyone who's visit is primarily for fishing or just desiring spending their time...
