“Terrible stay due to people in the neighboring room watching loud action movies late into the night forcing us to switch rooms at 2:30 AM. This was the only thing that kept me from giving the hotel a 5 star rating. The room I moved to was very quiet. The hotel was very clean and updated throughout and located in an ideal spot with lots of food and shopping nearby. I had requested a room on the top floor at the end of a hallway in hopes of a quiet stay and they granted my request. All encounters……

“I arrived pretty late Friday night. They had me booked into an upstairs room. I expressed a preference for downstairs, and the managers accommodated me. They told me how to adjust the heat in the room, and the room, which they had not expected to rent, warmed up pretty quickly. I was happy with the television, shower, bed, etc. I would stay there again.”

“Yes, in the hills of West Virginia, the motel is up the ramp, it really is. The roadside sign is a bit sun worn, so viewing ot at night is a little tricky. Go slow, pay attention, it's a small sign about waist level.”

“The office staff were all very professional and friendly. My visit was due to flooding of my home from the Ohio river. I wasn’t informed until the evening of 4-3 that I needed to evacuate now, as the River was over the bank and would continue flooding the area. I haven’t driven at night time in 6-7 years, so the drive over to the hotel was extremely stressful for me. The hotel allowed my late arrival. One thing I really appreciated, was the way they spaced the hotel guests. We weren’t on top of……

“Absolutely beautiful. Peaceful and quiet as well. We stayed 3 nights and plan to go back in may. We loved it.”

“We enjoy four of the surrounding lakes, Lake Hope, Fox Lake, Burr Oak lake, and Rose Lake. Rose Lake was the most serene, most beautiful, and most fishes caught even in the rain. We definitely will fish there again.”

“We had a lovely stay. Our goal was to get away from responsibilities and relax and we did just that. We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing by the fire. Communication with the host was easy.”
