"We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and watching the farm animals. The WRC fishing was a bit disappointing, but there was an area fishing derby the morning we arrived, so they might have been a bit timid. The house was very neat and felt very homey. The kitchen was nice, although there was a sign posted about not longer providing breakfast supplies starting in 2021. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will most likely come back in the future."

"Nice and clean rooms. Restaurant and bar on site but closed on the early side. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful."

"We had a perfect stay at The Rookery Cottage! Such a cute and quaint cottage. It had everything we needed and was a very relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were so friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back!"

"We stayed in the Garst House in the ground floor room with private bath. Being mid-week we had the whole house to ourselves. The house itself is amazing with its history and furnishings. There were a few minor maintenance issues but nothing we couldn't handle. The listing could use more details about the various rooms. The shared restroom on the ground floor has no tub or shower (glad we got the suite). The second floor rooms have a full shared bath and the suite with private bath is much larger than the one downstairs. There are multiple options in addition to the Garst house, make sure you know which location you need to go to."
