Another nice stay
This is the second year we’ve stayed here for a family reunion. The location is the #1 perk of the whole property. Set in a valley with bluffs surrounding it with a creek running through. Just beautiful! The house has enough bedrooms for us all with plenty of space for us to mingle. The owner was so nice in answering my questions …not just about the house but other questions I had about the area. I’m so glad we discovered this gem!

Beautiful and Peaceful!
This was the perfect place for our family/friends to stay for a basketball tournament weekend. I loved waking up and drinking my coffee while looking out at the beautiful bluffs! Jerry and Joan were wonderful hosts and made sure our stay was seamless.

A very special little slice of Wisconsin
I’ve gone to this house twice with a small group of friends and it is absolutely perfect. The little hill valley that it’s located in is quite beautiful, it’s nice and quiet, the house is spacious and warm (we come in the winter), and the hosts are very helpful.

the place was clean and the house is equipped with everything you need to cook. the hills were perfect for sledding after we had some freezing rain. Also enjoyed hiking up the big hill. Al feeds the cats in a neighboring house and I had a nice visit with him as he gave me a history lesson regarding the owners and properties in the surrounding area.

Serenity and peace
Located on practically a private road - enjoy the serenity and peace of a wonderful location! The yard is MASSIVE - the pictures don't do it justice. The fire pit always provided a wonderful way to wind down each evening. Super clean house, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of amenities to make it a home away from home. Can't wait to return! Girl's Trip
Our group of 5 had an amazing time at this property. Joan and Jerry were wonderful hosts. They took the time to meet us and show us around the property and recommend some places to go in the area. The home had plenty of space for us (inside and out) and the views were breathtaking. The photos don't do it justice. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and the hosts. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We would absolutely return.

Fall business retreat
Our group might have arrived for two days of bylaws and policies review but it was very relaxing. The house and surrounding property was gorgeous with the leaves changing color. It is still close to La Crosse. They had everything we needed. Highly recommend

Christmas gathering
My husband was ready to spend the rest of his life here! We grilled and grilled! We played croquet, played card games, watched a movie on an outside screen, and enjoyed a campfire. Not enough time to do another campfire so we left the extra wood. Luckily, weather cooperated while we were there. Nice place to find solitude if one needed it for a few moments. May put it on list to return to.

Aikenbutt Family Weekend
This is our 9th year of getting together. Our ages range from 66-2 years and there are 22 of us. The house was exactly what we had expected and planned on. We enjoyed the peaceful and secluded place and made many memories! Thanks so much a wonderful weekend!

Reunion weekend for 6 college friends
Very nice and modern house in beautiful, quiet Wisconsin farm country (about 20 minutes from downtown La Crosse). We saw deer, grouse, eagles, and a blue heron. Hiked up the bluffs to the top, had a campfire, and visited around the dining room table. Fully stocked kitchen.

Perfect for our family reunion
We had 8 adults staying for 4 days and it couldn't have worked out any better. There was room for us to be together - and room if you wanted to just chill on your own. There was a myriad of birds to listen to, and we caught sight of deer and wild turkeys. There was a minor glitch with the a/c....yes in April! It was a freak of 4 days of 80 degree weather - but the owner got a service rep to come by right away and fixed the issue. The family was coming from 4 different areas so this was fairly central for us. The setting was beautiful and we could only imagine how pretty it would be in the fall. We're all very happy with the owner and the property and felt we made a perfect choice!
