2 Bedroom Cottage with amazing views of Otsego Lake
Bayside Inn & Marina is located on 4 acres 7 miles North of Cooperstown on Otsego Lake. The property consists of 41 units including Motel/Inn rooms and Cottages of varying sizes. The property includes several picnic areas with grills, retro game room with pool table, hospitality room with tv, table/chairs, and board games. At the lake we have a small sandy swimming beach with gazebos. Canoes and kayaks are free of charge for guests use.
Cottage L (sleeps 8 people) is one of our two-bedroom cottages - with roomy common space with a cathedral ceiling. It is situated on a sunny knoll with a beautiful view of the lake.
Square footage is ample: approximately 700 sq ft, plus a full-length deck measuring 10 by 16 feet.
There is a double bed in the bedroom on the main floor, two double beds in the lower level bedroom, plus there is a pull-out sofa in the living room.

Not Worth the Money
This is literally a cabin at a motel. I did not know that when booking. The cabin was small and there was only 1 bathroom for a cabin that slept 8. The front desk person when checking in was not very friendly and there were way too many rules that they made sure they called about OFTEN despite being there very little due to the baseball games we attended daily. We also had to clean our own dishes and leave the place as we found it even after paying ridiculous host and service fees for the rental through VRBO. The floors creaked so badly that you would wake everyone up going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Oh and those that were sleeping downstairs with the two double beds had to climb a flight of stairs at night on the creaky steps to go to the bathroom. I would not recommend this place unless you are looking for a very rustic, very loud getaway.
