Beautiful escape for the fam and friends
What a beautiful escape in the bush with everything you could ask for a long weekend with family and friends. We loved the place and would visit again. Perfect for kids too with the pool, trampoline and space to run around. We made the most of the tennis courts and pool even though it was getting chilly. Beautiful bush walks up the road too. Highly recommend.

AMAZING
AMAZING doesn't do The Quarry Retreat justice. Our family had the most wonderful time, we didn't want to leave. This place has absolutely EVERYTHING. This is hands down the best place we have ever stayed at. We can't wait to go back. Tracy was also a pleasure to interact with, a most wonderful host. If anyone is thinking of booking The Quarry Retreat, DO IT, you will NOT regret it. I've been telling anyone that will listen just how perfect it is.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE
THE PROPERTY WAS GREAT FOR US ALL. PLENTY OF ROOM. GREAT AMENITIES AND BEDDING. FANTASTIC POOL, TENNIS COURT ETC. WE HAD GREAT WEATHER ALSO. THE KITCHEN AND LOUNGE COMBINED GREAT FOR ENTERTAINING AND CATHCING UP WITH FRIENDS. AND GOOD FOR WALKS AND SEEING THE WILDLIFE WAS LOVELY AND THE QUITENESS OF THE AREA. BACK VERANDAH WAS GREAT TO SIT AND WATCH THE WORLD GO BY AND ALSO CATCH UP WITH FRIENDS. LOVED IT. RECOMMEND A GREAT PLACE TO STAY.

Perfect place for a getaway
We loved everything about the place, such a beautiful setting. There was so much to do for the kids and adults, we didn’t need to leave. The kitchen was great to cook in, it was so well equipped. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property!
8 of us stayed here for three days over Christmas. The place was perfect for a group stay with a well equipped kitchen, spacious living area and plenty of space to eat and socialise. The grounds are beautiful and the sound of nature when the sun goes down really allows you to switch off from the city noise and distractions! Excellent pool and tennis court area which was used every day for games and more socialising. The only con (which we’d expected from other reviews) was a lack of good wifi. Most of us were happy to switch off from the grid anyway but it probably wouldn’t be a great place to work from if you needed constant connection. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended property for groups and families alike! :)

Fantastic Property
We had a fantastic weekend away for my Dad’s 60th. The property was extremely clean an absolutely beautiful. The grounds were amazing and we had everything we needed. Would definitely go back there

Great Spot...
Great property, good facilities all in good working order. Really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was internet connection. Need to look into a solution that WIFI facilities is extended to the pool, tennis and cabana area. Too many times we needed to go back to the house to check phones and calls. We all have families so we couldn't stay in constant contact just in case of emergency

This immaculate property is just as listed. Our family had 3 days there last year and we returned again this week. The pool, tennis court and putt putt golf all got a good work out. I cannot recommend it enough

Beautiful property
Incredible property in an isolated and relaxing setting with enough activities nearby to keep everyone entertained. Tracy provided incredible customer service and was very helpful answering all my inquiries. Wish we all stayed for longer.

Nothing but exceptional
You couldn't fault the hosts, house or the surrounding grounds. Even though we would've loved to experience the location on a sunny day, which it lends itself well too, the common areas and balcony were ideal for such conditions. We can't wait to visit again!

Fantastic Getaway!
This was an absolute gem of a property - private area with all the amenities. Only crux is that there was no phone reception and very poor wifi on the property - but otherwise this place had it all!

Great activities
Nice house, but bedrooms need a big update (quite outdated primitive furniture), no lights on porch makes quite difficult to locate the house on arrival and get your staff out the car when arrived after sunset. No internet whatsoever, I do understand no wifi on offer, but we couldn't even used own data to communicate with family, watch Netflix etc. We discussed with Lisa an arrangements of extra bed (as two single ladies were travel and share the room) and beddings for the foldable sofa bed in common area, just incase one of them wanted to take it. That hasn't been done as arranged. One single lady was share the room with a couple. Neither of them felt comfortable. It was a big disappointment. I tried to call to speak to someone, but all numbers on books went to an answer machine. Kitchen well equipped. Great pool and tennis court and BBQ was the only highlight of our stay.

Incredible property and so much land. Great tennis court and pool with all the necessary equipment available. Large kitchen and balcony area overlooking the pond. The table tennis court and pool table arnt great though and probably need to be replaced. Lisa was great to deal with and would respond within 5 minutes of asking a question. Overall it was a great place to stay at.

Better the second time
This was our second time at the property in the last 18 months. Communication and process to book is first rate and no detail is left unexplained. Thoroughly enjoy the tranquility and all amenities are brilliant. Mother Nature was kinder this time so we really got to enjoy the pool and tennis court. Will definitely be back again!

Relaxing and breathtakingly beautiful
This property is excellently managed and all of the amenities have been thoughtfully planned for a wonderful experience. There is zero phone reception whatsoever but it really presented an opportunity to disconnect and spend real time enjoying each other's company and the beautiful grounds. So much room for activities!
We booked the quarry retreat for my birthday weekend. I had friends and family stay and everyone had the best time. There is so much to do you’ll never get bored. We spent most of the day out by the pool. We had tennis tournaments, basketball games, volleyball in the pool, backyard cricket and heaps more. The kids loved the trampoline, treehouse and mini golf. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The wildlife around the area was awesome. There are a few bugs around but there’s not much you can do about that. Overall everyone had the best time and the house was perfect for us.

Amazing location with everything you need
We had 15 for my mums 75th birthday. Amazing for all ages. We didn’t have to leave the property. It had it all! Activities, games, tennis racquets, balls, pool noodles, pool table, table tennis even pantry essentials. No wifi or phone reception, but that made the family time more special. Would highly recommend!

Amazing house
We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Quarry Retreat, it is a very high standard and extremely well maintained. The tennis court got a good work out and really there is no need to leave the property on a short stay it is so comfortable and well appointed.

Wonderful stay at The Quarry retreat
Our family group had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Quarry Retreat. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the house was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with lots of pantry items and the bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice surprise. There were plenty of activities for both adults and children and lots of fun was had on the tennis and basket ball courts. The children were kept happily occupied with the skateboards, bikes, trampoline, swings and the cubby house. They even ventured into the swimming pool despite the temperature. The description of the house was very accurate but a couple of the bedrooms were smaller than they appeared in the photos, especially the room with the single bed. A big thank you to Lisa who was very prompt in answering any questions we had about the house and the facilities.

We had a 35 yr reunion with primary school mates. We're all into tennis and had a mini tournament. The host was great letting us finish off our final match even after check out time. Thanks for accommodating us. Appreciated.

Excellent house in a beautiful setting
A great place to unwind. Lovely house in a beautiful setting. The only downside is that the internet connection is poor - satellite, unfortunately, but it works as long as you don't overload it. Zoom will overload it. Highly recommended if you can survive minimal connection.

Great facilities for recreation and picturesque grounds.
This property shines when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the pool, tennis court and playground. It can accommodate a large group of mixed ages. The furnishings are sturdy but a little dated. There are a few things to note, there is very limited hot water for showers and washing dishes, which may be an issue for large groups. There is no real internet or mobile reception, which makes checking and sending emails or looking up info very difficult. It is a place to really disconnect and switch off from the grind.

Beautiful location/property hidden just off the M1 1 hour from Wahroonga Waroongha
Something for everyone to do. Swimming, tennis, table tennis, basketball. One thing that would be great to have there is a small canoe to go out on the big pond in. Very quiet and peaceful weekend we had at Quarry Retreat.
