Thank you for the review. Although there is insulation between the floors, the heated tile floors do transmit some noise between the floors. We remind guests in the upper floors that they are sharing what is effectively a duplex and to be respectful to other guests, but not every guest is equally careful and polite about making noise.

The housekeeper notified me that she had seen some tiny ants the prior day and I was able to schedule a pest control contractor for the next day. The beach stairs (two separate parts) have suffered some damage from winter storms. The entire section of land with the lower stairs just slid down creating a big gap from the bottom of the upper stairs to the ground below. A temporary ladder was placed to allow continued access to the beach. The stairs will be repaired soon.

There may have been a misunderstanding about the door to the garage. That door is unlocked from the first floor to the garage to access the washer and dryer and recreation area. There is a staircase that separates the first floor from the upper floors, and that staircase is always locked unless guests rent the entire house. Each part of the house is secure and separate from the other while that door is locked.

I am sorry the upstairs guests did not follow our noise rules and quiet hours policy. I am going to add additional signage about quiet hours enforcement inside the unit.
