“A beautiful spot within a short walk of cafes and restaurants and overlooking the ocean with views of Savary. Hosts were attentive and friendly but gave us lots of privacy (they live on site).”

“We were in Powell River to attend my grandsons final minor hockey tournament (U18 Stars) and couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! Jenn & Sean were great hosts and our accommodations were the Best. With early morning rises and many trips back and forth to the rink, we felt right at home with the comfy beds, stunning views and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. So grateful we had such a lovely place to unwind from the long days! Without a doubt would recommend ~ these……

“What a beautiful spot. Nice and private, very peaceful. Unfortunately, my pup decided to have a midlife crisis and we weren't able to spend time with the fur gang who are a wonderful bonus to this property. The ocean is easily accessible and the owner's easy to communicate with who were very patient with my fishing obsessed kids. Shopping, stores and hiking are all close as well. Having a warm fire at the end of the day was a lovely extra. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

We wish we had known to bring our own water. This property is in a state of construction, but has a lot of great potential to be a lovely glamping spot on Savary.”

“The place is even better than advertised. It's location is close to many great amenities on Cortes, including fairly close to the ferry, the grocery and a nice, dockside restaurant. Sue was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, always highly responsive. Really, this place is so great I'd like to keep it a secret so we can easily book for years to come. “We enjoyed a beautiful week's vacation at Margaret's cabin on Savary Island. Communication with Margaret was clear and easy. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. We hope to return!”

“The property has a great view and the tents are cozy. Lois and her family made us feel welcome and were great hosts. The amenities were very basic when we were there (outhouse only, no power or running water, shared basic kitchen stuff) though I know the property is changing and upgrading by the week. We felt a bit uncomfortable sharing spaces during Covid without too many precautions but lesson learned. ”

“This was our first trip to Savary Island. We didn’t really know what to expect but Samantha, our host, communicated with us and gave us some really useful info. Place is very big and in a perfect location, 4 min away from an amazing beach. All other spots on the island are a bike ride away. Would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone. If you like beautiful, quiet, safe place and amazing beaches with unbelievably warm water (September 1st) Savary island resort is your place to go to.”
