First, the entrance door was broken - this had happened before, neighbors told us, given prevailing winds- and, without guidance on nighttime access, we were left to improvise a solution with masking tape to avoid being locked out over the coldest night of 2025. Once inside there are more steps down from the kitchen to the living room and one step up into the bedrooms. Not an issue for us but could be for others. Would stay again if in Roanoke.”

“Honestly such an amazing and relaxing stay for my family. My father in law, mother in law, and husband went up north from Jax, FL due to a memorial service for my father in law’s brother. It has a little office area with a door in case you need to get some work done while others watch TV. Kitchen is well-stocked with utensils/pots/pans. This property is pet friendly and worked well for my poodle. Just keep in mind that it's an apartment so you'll need to take your dog outside for little walks. ”
